Update Frequency
Updates used to be 2 times a week with the update days being highly variable. After a lot of thought this has now been changed over the last couple of months with updates now reduced to once a week on a firm date which is Wednesday normally between 2-4 pm UK Time. This may be later in the day if there are issues with uploading the video. Again if there are Bank Holidays or unforeseen issues, the update may be on a Thursday as a result. Quality over quantity is the aim of The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel and reducing the update to once a week ensures a better produced and better researched and more in depth video. Increasingly more complex topics are being tackled beyond the normal average videos you see on You Tube and this ensures that the main website is not affected in update terms.

Video Lengths/Duration
Video length or duration used to be up to a maximum of 40 or so minutes but recently some experimenting has been done with extra long videos which are a minimum of 1 hour and up to 1 and a half hours in length. If the subject matter is more complex or requires more time to explain then these longer videos will appear or they may come as a Part 1 and Part 2. BUT most videos will be around the 30-40 minute in length time which seems to be the sweet spot for videos which are concerned with Bible Prophecy.

Comments:
As the comments seem to have improved and are more frequent in recent months, any comments that are added will be checked within 24-48 hours so your comment if approved should appear quicker than it did in the past. I still don't respond to comments direct but see details of the NEW video format below.

NEW Q and A and Video Response
Another new experimental type of video was released in two parts about 3 weeks ago and they seem to be getting some sort of interest. These videos are video responses from myself in the form of a Q and A session responding to comments that are being received on videos at The Twelve Gates You Tube channel. The quality of the comments seems to be picking up recently and a lot are not that easy to respond to and require some research to give a decent answer. So these new Q and A Video Response Style videos are an attempt to answer comments that need answering and mean I can reply in my own time instead of having to answer in say 24 hours or so. These videos as stated earlier are experimental and may have a couple of news items thrown in the mix as well. Update frequency is variable depending on how many comments are coming in but at present about every 4-6 weeks seems about right at present. These video responses will feature limited Bible quotes are these are just myself responding to comments. The two experimental videos are Q and A Video Response 1 and Q and A Video Response 2.

NEW Prophecy Maps in Videos
The most recent Bible Prophecy videos have been primarily focused on scripture via the Xiphos Bible Software which seems to be a winning formula which will not be changed, but the software does have the ability to display Biblical maps as well, so these will be featured in a Prophecy study alongside the existing Bible verses. Other maps may be farmed in from elsewhere as well. Just adds another dimension to the video and breaks up the wall of text so it appeals to a wider audience. Photos of Biblical locations may also appear in future videos. The latest video "Map of Locations Mentioned in Revelation" is an example of the possible look of some but not all future videos. I find adding maps to the Bible verses really makes the scripture pop and it sinks in much stronger when you know where the actual location is. Not all of us live in the Middle East?

More in depth and complex topics with a Neutral bias
Most people on You Tube I am aware watch hundreds if not thousands of videos that cover the subject of Bible Prophecy. There must be hundreds of thousands of videos out there, some are good, many are not so good. The aim of this channel is to go into more depth than most and cover more complex topics but with a Neutral Bias which means no pushing of ideologies, opinions and views or agendas at the expense of arriving at the truth according to scripture, which is the main concern of this channel.

Bible Prophecy in the News
These Bible Prophecy News Videos were mentioned in the previous news update bu have as yet to materialise, something that is in the pipeline and being chewed over, these will be shorter in length probably between 3 and 10 minutes going into detail on the latest developments that fulfil Bible Prophecy popping up in the latest news headlines. Still on the drawing board but a couple of experimental videos will be appearing in the near future. These will appear as and when so could be once a week or once a month depending on what headlines are in the news.

Summary
The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will always be trying out new things in connection with Bible Prophecy, trying out new formats, new styles but essentially it is all about Bible Prophecy and finding the truth via scripture. If the videos get interest they are continued, if they do not then obviously they will not.

The focus on this You Tube Channel will always be the Book of Revelation and books that cross refer to it such as Matthew 24 and from the Old Testament the Book of Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and not forgetting Isaiah.

We have seen this a thousand times before but something for you to form your own opinion over JUST IN CASE it is FACT? The headline states a Prophecy website has predicted the End of the world this Easter and the Second Coming of Jesus. Check the website called "A Trumpet for My People" no link, but thought you may want to be aware of it in view of the recent possible ww3 escalations globally.

General
With regards to End Times style headlines the last month or so has been eerily quiet? Yes there have been the usual M5.0 or so earthquakes, floods, landslides, wildfires, Mt Etna and Bogoslof eruptions, giant hail and tornado outbreaks, King Jom Un missile launches, never ending Trump headlines and the continuing Terrorist activity with the recent being London, BUT nothing out of the ordinary that has a Biblical nature to it.

Behind the scenes it's been a struggle to find 2 or 3 headlines to put out on Twitter.....that's very quiet. The news sources that are used from You Tube they have been quiet as well with update frequency dropping off significantly either that or staying the same, but with less significant headlines becoming more prominent, not the way that this website intends to go. If it's quiet....then it's quiet.

The exception being the Famine in Africa that seems to be spreading at an alarming rate. There has always been famine in Africa, with Somalia and Ethiopia being the relentless victims, but other countries are now becoming affected including in South Africa, which is starting to raise concerns, and has all the hallmarks of The Third Seal of Revelation.

Bible Prophecy Focus
Increasingly, especially on Twitter the Twelve Gates will be focusing more directly on Bible Prophecy and headlines that have a prophetic ring to them. Natural Disasters and Extreme Weather will be still be focused on, as it always proves popular, but again there has to be some Biblical ring to it, for it to appear on the website or on the other associated social media channels. A torrential downpour is hardly the End of the World, it's when a months worth of rain falls in 2 hours or huge storms in normally arrid areas such as The Middle East occur, that's when alarm bells start ringing at this end and the headlines will appear accordingly.

Distinguishing Accurate News from Fake News
The main concern these days is sourcing accurate news information. This website has always sourced it's news from the more alternative or underground sources as that is the nature of the news that is being dealt with at The Twelve Gates. Most of the news is not really mainstream enough for the top media to spend time on, they focus on things that generate huge volumes of views as they have advertisers to answer to. Hence why the alternative media is used, some of it is exceptionally good, but is always checked whenever possible, as sensationalism can creep in at times. Sometimes old headlines have a habit of reappearing as well when things are quiet, something you have to keep an eye on.

With the recent "Fake News" from various sources becoming an increasing concern, the nature and type of sources used is becoming much more important, otherwise everything you do starts to get thrown into question.

New Tech:
Behind the scenes The Twelve Gates has gone a bit Apple. Just a little bit? An IPad has recently been acquired (last week) for next to nothing (again as I have no money) along with a wireless keyboard and this news article is being typed on it. It's the older IPad 2 (The Pro would be nice) but it's fast enough for my needs. It's superb and the wireless keyboard is strangely better than the laptop which was at best typo city.

This iPad with the keyboard is silent, less than half the weight and the battery last 10 times longer! The laptop is now used mainly from the mains (battery last just 1 hour) and for video editing and graphics work and the recent decent microphone acquired (See You Tube Channel News) will not plug into the IPad. Apple it has to be said do have their own way of doing things which can take some figuring out (took 3 hours to figure out how to add an Excel spreadsheet to an email) but once you get used to it, it's there for a reason, to keep out the dreaded Virus and Trojans. Still playing around with this new toy and experimenting with various apps, (all free) but the end result should be some noticeable improvements across the board at your end, in some shape or form.

Social Media Channel Headers
The Twelve Gates Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus Headers will be changing in the next week or so and new designs are currently being worked on to give it a new fresh look, the existing header as good as it is has been there for some time and is due for a change. The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will also have a new header that will be the same as all the other social media channel headers.

No changes at the website itself, same design, same layout and updates should be 3 times a week (down to 2 if an IPad has recently been purchased or something else crops up).

You Tube Channel News March 2017

The latest news from The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel for March 2017. What's going on behind the scenes and the latest developments. What direction is the channel heading in, update frequency and days when updates, new equipment purchased and much more.

With the shift away from personal appearances on You Tube videos and instead using more of a voice over style of delivery which is featured on channels such as BP Earthwatch and other similar channels, it has been decided this is the way forward and the numbers speak for themselves.Video Views and subscriber levels have both jumped recently. Viewing levels still vary incredibly from video to video, but then that is the nature of You Tube.

With a change in focus on the The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel, various things have been looked at which could be improved. There is always something that could be done better!

Improved Sound and New Microphone
Looking around at other similar channels it has been noticed that those who do this voice over presentation video style delivery have rather good sound. As I am no longer appearing in visual form in videos but in voice form only, I've decided to up the game in the sound department and to invest in a new microphone which was bought recently. If you are doing this sort of video presentation the voice and quality becomes ultra important. This new microphone is a noticeably better microphone than what I was using before. The previous microphone was bought down a boot sale for a quid and was more designed for gaming consoles. It was an all plastic Logitech and was OK, but did have shortcomings such as a thin sound and noticeable popping and an annoying Kchhh sound when you hit the record button which involved a lot of work to edit it out so I just left it in.

For serious more professional sound and for just a bit more money I now use a Samson mic(pictured above) which is an entry level studio mic and the sound is vastly improved and it weights considerably more being all metal construction. No more popping and hissing on the letter S and the annoying Kchhhhh sound every couple of minutes has gone also. Managed to get this microphone for very little money which is good because I have very little money these days. Still messing around with this microphone to get the best out of it, but this is the new microphone of choice that will be used on all future videos. Can't recommend this Samson Mic highly enough.

Bible Software for Bible Prophecy Analysis
Various Bible softwares have been tried for Bible Prophecy Analysis presentations but it looks like Xiphos seems to be the best when it comes to producing something that is easy to use and view on You Tube, so Xiphos is the Bible software of choice from now on. The Bible Prophecy analysis presentations seem to be popular on the Twelve Gates You Tube Channel, so this looks to be the way forward for this channel and they will continue into the future.

Covering topics mainly focused on the Book of Revelation Prophecy, but delving into other areas of the New Testament and the Old Testament Prophecy as well, especially the renowned Old Testament prophets and digging up some things that maybe most people are not really aware of in the Bible if you just read it from cover to cover. Some of the stuff revealed is an eye opener. Some topics may have nothing to do with Prophecy, but are interesting none the less.

These videos tend to be around half an hour long and sometimes longer but at present are shorter than an hour and will probably stay that way. All the videos carry a warning saying these are just my thoughts, views, opinions and just a general kicking some prophecy ideas around sort of scenario. What is said in these videos is not cast in stone and could prove to be correct or incorrect.

Other Forms of Video Presentation
Will be looking into other forms of presentation that are End Times focused but not so intensively focused on the Bible, but more in relation to current news headlines that are appearing that are fulfilling Bible Prophecy. Something that has been on the drawing board for some time, that could run in parallel with the Bible Prophecy Analysis but as separate videos under a different category. Something along the lines of the You Tube Channels BP Earthwatch which is more factual and news based or Dahboo7 which seems to be primarily News based but more Underground in Nature. A recent experimental video delving into Subliminal Advertising and One Eyed Symbolism that appears in Adverts (see end of news update for link) could be another way forward. Just another twist on the things that are floating around in our End Times Scenario, the sort of things that are not exactly mentioned in the Bible. These videos will be shorter with a maximum length of 25-30 minutes and probably shorter than that and more eye candy in appearance but crammed with hard facts to stretch the brain cells a bit with maybe a couple of relevant Bible Quotes during the video or placed as a closer at the end of the video. Some other things are being looked into as well.

Frequency of Updates
Currently updating the channel with two videos a week with Wednesday and Saturday being the choice days and lunchtime to early afternoon UK Time being the update time. These days may vary but most times should be on those days. So on average two videos a week, sometimes it may be down to one video update if it's a bigger topic especially Bible Prophecy, other weeks it could be up to three, but two seems to be the average at present to keep the quality of the videos high. Bible Prophecy Analysis is a slow and ponderous process and takes time and cannot be rushed.

Comments
Any comments left on the channel are automatically held for review as I have had problems in the past. If they are fine (that includes both positive and negative) they are approved and appear on the channel. If they are not, or they are spam in nature, promoting or trying to sell something or simply using the discussion area as a means of promoting your own channel or video, then they are removed or never appear in the first place. Persistent offenders will be blocked without warning.

Sometimes I may respond to a comment but most of the time I just leave the comment out there for others to reply, as I've said what I needed to say in the video. No sense in repeating yourself. If you agree with what I say in the video that is fine, if you disagree that is fine as well, but I have an issue with people trying to tell me how to run my channel, especially those who have channels themselves with 2 or no subscribers and have never produced a single video in their entire life. Everybody will take offence to such remarks. It takes a long time to produce any of these videos with research and video production, recording and rendering, when you realise the work involved, then you tend to avoid such comments, unless they really are warranted. Of course as they say in America, if the videos on the channel "Suck" big time, then the owner of the channel obviously needs to be made aware but with valid reasons.

The latest News and Developments concerning The Twelve Gates website for February 2017. changes that may be taking place over the coming weeks and months that will be of interest to regular visitors and new visitors alike.

The website/blog was started November 2015, so is now 1 year and 3 months old, still a baby in internet terms, but she is now starting to spread her wings and the End of Year news update stated that in 2017 it will be "business as usual" and "why change a winning formula".

A recent article covering those swarms of Black Birds in Houston Texas on the day before the US President Inauguration on 19 January 2017 as a result of watching a recent Last Messages Video on You Tube, (something I missed in the news) got absolutely hammered for a week or so, so much so it has gone straight to Number 1 on the all time views on the website. It's still getting interest, but it was a short article that took 30 minutes to produce and as a result, this has got me scratching my head at this end and the old brain cogs set into motion.

At present the website is purely focused on the Book of Revelation, Bible Prophecy and Christian Spirituality with in depth articles covering those topics. Update frequency is at present 3 times a week with updates on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday depending on what else is going on with the other channels such as social media and You Tube and what is coming up in the news at the time. sometimes it's busy and other times it's quiet. That's just the way it is.

These normal articles done since the launch of the website, take a lot of time to research and take a long time to produce. They are getting a lot of interest from all quarters as they are just a little bit different to what you normally see out there. Had some interest from a couple of Universities in the US recently, which was an eye opener? Enough information is contained within the article to keep Christians interested, but also enough information for those who are not in the faith who are just curious about such topics and do not want to be bashed over the head with a bible repeatedly. In short the articles can be read by everybody. That is the motto of this website. I'm not here to convert people, that's a route you decide to go on yourself! I'm here to warn peopl of what is cominge. I'm just a Watchman on the wall, not a preacher or a prophet.

These articles and the frequency of updates will not be changing, about 3 times a week on the week days mentioned. No updates on the weekends as I'm normally researching topics for the following week. Also on these days I am also researching and working on producing videos for The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel for the following week.

Which brings me finally onto the new development that could be happening on a trial basis over the coming weeks and that is Prophecy in the News. This currently features over at The Twelve Gates Twitter using content written by other websites. The idea being on trial is producing shorter Prophecy News style headlines but produced by The Twelve Gates and not using other peoples material. This will not be for all headlines, as I don't have that sort of time, but for some headlines which are interesting, these articles will be put out there and will add another dimension to The Twelve Gates website.

Currently some articles focus on a particular headline but they tend to be days after the event, rather than hours, changing some of the posts to a more "Prophecy in the News" style will enable this website to react much quicker to emerging stories as and when they arise.

These trial smaller "Prophecy News" blog post/articles should be appearing in the next couple of weeks........maybe earlier. This is not turning into a News or Media website, everything stays the same but with just a few extra additions when things get busy and this year could prove very busy indeed.

The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel News January 2017

The latest news and developments at The Twelve Gates You Tube channel for late January 2017. After the last news update just weeks ago, yet more changes in direction for this You Tube Channel which are starting to appear over there as we speak.

There has been a shift from myself appearing in the videos in the last week or so, to either a presentation style with me voicing over, or some eye candy and music laced with Bible quotes style videos. This looks to be the way the channel will be heading in 2017. The talking head, lip flapping style presentations will be a thing of the past. There are thousands of Christians all doing the same thing, one less will not make any difference.

Bible Prophecy, in some shape or form seems to be the overwhelming thumbs up from day one on this channel,   at least, in views and subscriber terms and comments from the You Tube community regarding these videos. Get the impression that not only Christians are interested in this Prophecy stuff naturally, but non believers seem to be fascinated as well, even total atheists? in how the Bible actually reveals (in the right hands) what is going on in these last days. It's there...... clear as day.......if you can see it? Relating what it says in the Bible to what is happening now is the trick.

So this looks to be increasingly the main focus and the way this channel will be heading. Doesn't matter which way you cut it, there is not much point producing a video that gets 20 views after a month, but they will still be left out there to help somebody who has lost their way in life.! Looking to also be doing some sort of news service, again not with me in the video (maybe a small cam in the corner) featuring the latest End Times News. That's currently on the drawing board and has been experimented with in the past (The Bird Flu Vid). Bible Study and Studying Prophecy is another thing being looked into which may also prove popular. The eye candy Bible verse videos with music track will continue, but maybe just a couple a month. There are hundreds of them out there, so it's difficult to get ranked with them, again it´s pointless duplicating what is already out there but they are a good way to reach people who don''t normally consider reading the Bible or Bible verses.

The only problem with Bible Prophecy, the frequency of updates will probably drop down to between 1 or 2 a week because of the work involved to make up a presentation. It's not something like a Vlog which you can put out every day or at least 5 times a week. A lot of research, digging around the Bible, staring out the window and chewing things over, it's slow and ponderous work, not something you can rush, but the results are worth it and speak for themselves.

Currently playing around with different Bible software packages. 3 on the shortlist. Unfortunately my favourite is the one that keeps crashing, but the last video featured my second favourite Bible Software that I will probably be using in the future. The features on it are more geared up for presentations, it's stable, user friendly, powerful but not exactly the best looking of the bunch, but it does the job well and that's what really matters. So it looks like that will be the one I will be sticking with. A lot of these presentations are just theories that I have or just "kicking a ball round the park" style theories which will be shorter in duration (under 10 mins). Others will delve more deeply into the many layers of the Bible (10 mins to 30 mins), and will be an eye opener for many. Eye candy will be minimal at best, maybe a few intro photos like the last videos. Bible Version used is either KJV or NKJV. That is what I use, some people love it, others hate.

It has to be stressed that these Prophecy Presentations or Bible Prophecy Analysis videos are not my Prophecies, just me analysing the Prophets of Old. I am NOT a Prophet ......just a Watchman on the wall. Nothing more...nothing less. The Bible does come alive for some people and screams out at them and they see things that most miss (Seers and those with The Spirit). I have The Spirit and maybe I'm one of those people, but as I said, I'm not a Prophet. As always with this You Tube Channel, The Twelve Gates Website, Twitter and Google Plus, and the rest, it's a case of Do Your Own Research (DYOR) and Form Your Own Opinion (FYOO) and if you are a Christian "Test The Spirits" and "Check everything against The Word". But then you don''t need me to tell you that!

What's happening at The Twelve Gates regarding the US Inauguration Day News?

The Twelve Gates will be keeping an eye out for any developments as always especially today Friday 20 January 2017, till late in the evening and also on Saturday and Sunday. Will be looking for more in the way of Prophetic happenings rather than the actual event itself, as this is not a news or political website.

If nothing happens, then nothing will be mentioned. Check the thousands of media sources (mainstream and alternative) for in depth information and coverage, as The Twelve Gates will not be covering the actual event itself. Just saying!

Am I expecting anything to happen? There is a lot of hype surrounding this event, as you would expect, but as I always say "see what comes out in the wash" before jumping to any conclusions. Check a previous article called Thoughts on the US Presidential Inauguration 20 January 2017 written a couple of days ago.

The latest news from The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel for January 2017 keeping you up to date with the latest developments and news and what is in the pipeline for 2017.

The Manic Experimental Period
After a trial blitz of video uploads over a period of a couple of months trying different styles of video, different presentations, me in the video, me not in the video, bible quotes in the video, no bible quotes, uploading morning, afternoon and evening and late at night, shooting videos indoors and outdoors at different exciting locations, buying a new mic to see if that makes any difference, coming up with click bait thumbs with massive text and thumbs with no click bait text, exciting titles, weird titles, seo friendly titles, short titles, long titles, few tags, loads of tags, short description, long description, tlking loudly, talking normal, talking quietly, talking fast, talking slow, .............every variable under the sun has been played with and after doubling the number of videos on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel to 50 and after much thought and staring out of the window and scratching of the head and careful consideration, the following conclusions have been reached.

1. Bible Prophecy is by far the most popular topic on the channel either via me talking or via some sort of onscreen presentation
2. An update frequency of about 5 videos per week Monday to Friday for such a heavy topic as Christianity is probably a bit overkill
3. Prophecy in the News going into some detail on some of the latest headlines is getting some sort of interest.
4. Christian Spirituality is getting limited interest
5. The new eye candy photo slide shows with music track backing and Bible quotes are getting some interest.
6. Preaching of some description is getting some sort of interest but Bible quotes in some shape or form are needed on screen or said in the transcript.
7. Why some videos do better than others even now is a complete and utter mystery that defies logic.
8. It is abundantly clear that what I think is a superb video that will go viral does not equate to that in the real world on You Tube
9. Messing around and having a laugh on a Christian Channel that is focused on the serious topic of End Times and pretending to be Casey Neistat or PewDiePie in the process goes down like a lead balloon, does not impress the punters and they are hitting the unsubscribe button quicker than you can say Adios
10. There is a lot more to learn and certainly a lot more experimenting will be required to see which way and what form The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will take.
11. You Tube is at Saturation point and most popular topics have been covered by hundreds if not thousands of others and you will just get buried. You have to come up with something different or original or a different take on what is proving popular to achieve some form of success.
12. If you haven´t shaved for 3 or 4 days and your hair looks like you have been sleeping rough for two years, I've realised people don´t care, it´s the content that matters although appearance is important for the thumb at least.

These are the often painful conclusions that have been reached after producing loads of content and spending vast amounts of time, shooting, editing and uploading videos with the end result, more subscribers but hardly that many considering the amount of effort involved.

So here's the new revised plan for 2017:
1. Uploads are being reduced to about an average of 2-3 videos per week which reduces the update frequency to normal levels, 5 is getting a bit spammy for a Christian End Times Channel. If it´s quiet it could be one video that week, if it is busy then up to 5 or more. Gives me more time to concentrate on this website and Twitter.
2. Bible Prophecy will feature HOPEFULLY at a target frequency of 2-3 times a month. It´s difficult to produce 3 prophecy videos in a week.
3. Prophecy in the News with me on screen or via an on screen presentation MAY feature initially once or so a week on an experimental basis.
4. I may get a decent add on standalone web cam for my laptop which may be used for news related topics. The one I have got my eye on is not cheap but is highly recommended by top You Tubers. The web cam built into my laptop is pretty basic.
5. Christian Spirituality will still be produced along with preaching around once a week and will contain Bible quotes. Number of views is immaterial, if each video affects one persons life and changes it for the better, then that video has achieved it´s objective.
6. No more messing around producing Blooper videos, this is a serious channel covering serious topics.
7. More experimenting will be taking place behind the scenes trying different forms of content, style, presentation and some obscure topics.
8. The bible quote slide show videos will feature at least 2-3 times a month.
9. Will continue to push for higher video quality and sound quality.
10. Have recently acquired some Professional level video editing software (Free) which I am currently experimenting with and will be used increasingly in the coming months, the learning curve on this beast of a software is steep.
11. Will try to make sure I have shaved and combed my hair at least, before shooting a video!
12. And finally and the most important, find out what people are looking for and want to watch RATHER than what I think people are looking for and want to want to watch. There is a massive difference.



SUMMARY
After a hectic 2 months with visions of The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel going manic and blowing up overnight, the reality has set in that success on You Tube is not an overnight thing and involves a lot of hard work. You've got to be good these days with an element of luck thrown in, just the same as life. The bottom line for The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel though is to produce content that affects peoples lives and raises awareness of the times we are in rather than going down the purely views and subscribers route which in reality for a channel that is Not for Profit and doesn't feature advertising, views and subscribers is more a commercial concern or an ego trip.

To conclude, The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will have some exciting new developments and continue into 2017, but in a less manic way with a much more slow and steady approach, with increasingly better and ORIGINAL content, searching for that niche that will provide content that people will find interesting to watch and that I enjoy and find interesting to make. And that in my opinion is a large chunk of what You Tube is all about.

A look back over the year, as this website had it´s first Birthday this year as I bought the domain thetwelvegates.org on 30/10/2015, the first post was a couple of days afterwards.

Website News:

Visitor numbers have ballooned on this website in just the last couple of months? We are talking about 5 times the normal average amount?? Thought it might be something to do with the US Elections, but I wasn´t writing anything about it, gave a brief mention around about the time of the results, that was it. The election has been and gone and the visitors levels are still the same, for whatever the reason? Have to say not complaining! Probably a Google thing giving the website a thumbs up....who knows? A US University (not Harvard or Yale) has recently linked to one of The Twelve Gates articles..........could be that, which has made Google sit up and raise it´s eyebrows. Again, who knows??

Business as usual until the end of the year at the official website, over the Christmas period will probably do some staring out of the window and have a few pipe dreams and see what happens, but at present why change a winning formula. The website design also will remain the same, it works, looks good, and easy to find your way around....if it isn´t broken, don´t fix it. BUT..... there could be a few new ideas springing up in 2017?

Twitter News

Again not blowing my trumpet here but for an End Times website The Twelve Gates Twitter seems to be growing steadily and close to hitting the 20K level which is again quite an achievement for such a specialised topic feed. Seems to be more involvement at the latter part of this year with regard to retweets..... that´s good. Again no plans to change a winning formula, but some new ideas may come into the mix. Currently looking at more reliable news sources with the current "Fake News Websites" headline running riot, but will continue to use the more non mainstream news sources that do not have an agenda, as long as what they are saying is real and checks out. A lot of the topics covered by The Twelve Gates are so specialised and low volume in readership, they are of no interest to the mainstream media anyway.

Google Plus News

This was started after Twitter and again over the last few of months has nearly doubled in followers or Circles which again is good news. Google Plus seems to be a lot slower and have more involvement than Twitter in general, but is a smaller platform. I like it. All posts and video updates will continue to appear over at The Twelve Gates Google Plus. Again some new experimental ideas may appear in 2017, as always watch for further news on that.

Facebook News

Was started a couple of months ago amid a lot of initial interest and hundreds of likes in a couple of weeks, only to come crashing down and see them deleted to about 9 likes and a similar number of followers??? Not sure what happened there, but I have a sneaking suspicion either Facebook is not keen on Religious and maybe Christian websites, or they are keen on getting you to pay to advertise and increase exposure of posts and get likes as that seems to be in your face every time you log into the control panel. As The Twelve Gates website is a "Not for Profit" website, that will not be happening any time in the near future, so 9 likes and a similar number of followers it is. I have no intention to pay for followers or likes on Facebook or anywhere else. Basically with The Twelve Gates Facebook Page which is called "thetwelvegatesmedia" it currently features exclusively video content only with a few words, so if you are on Facebook you don´t have to keep checking over at YouTube to see what the latest update is, if you are more a Fan of Facebook than You Tube.

No current plans to do anything radically different over at Facebook, I´ve never been that keen on it and the first couple of weeks over there has only reinforced that view further! Prefer Twitter, it´s way more suited to the fast paced End Times News environment. Will just continue to plod along with Facebook and provide an alternative source/platform for those who love Facebook and want to get The Twelve Gates over at that social media website. Again watch for further developments in 2017 but I will need to see stacks more in the way of numbers, before that gets developed or pushed any harder. I´m not one for flogging a dead horse!

You Tube News
Last but not least the head scratching You Tube channel. A separate video link here will be appearing giving the latest news over at that Channel and  will be embedded here later, explaining what will be happening in the coming months, as that is a whole different animal.



To summarise, I Love You Tube, and I am pushing hard over at that channel and giving it a kick up the rear quarters on a daily basis to wake it up. About 4-5 videos will be made every week until the channel hits 50 or by the end of the year, whichever is sooner. Then I will be looking at the numbers and reviewing where to go next in 2017. So far the results have been luke warm at best, but the religious topics are slow burners and Bible Prophecy seems by far and away the topic that generates the most interest. Exciting times over at You Tube, I have a feeling it could blow up some time in the near future, it will eventually.... just like the website... it´s just a question of when and not if.. The Twelve Gates at You Tube just gives another angle and dimension to the blog posts over at the website as well, so it will become increasingly important in 2017 and beyond....IF WE ARE STILL HERE?

The Twelve Gates Channel News and Latest Update



A lot of changes on the way for this channel, some could prove a disaster, some could propel it into the stratosphere, but if things just stay as they are, things will just keep going sideways, not my kind of situation. The channel as regulars have probably gathered is moving away from the eye candy and funky music backed style videos with non original content and onto a more basic style delivery but ORIGINAL content featuring myself which is what the whole original You Tube platform was designed for. Things are picking up speed in the End Times News arena and I can´t be spending hours or days editing videos, reaction times to events need to be quicker in these Last Days hence these major changes.

The Channel Experiments

Ten things that will be happening on the channel in the coming months, some are permanent, others are experimental and maybe adopted and maybe not, other new things will appear, but the channel is still in the experimental phase and still finding it´s direction. Currently at just over 200 subscribers and just going sideways it has been decided to give the channel a jolt and kick up the rear quarter to get it heading in the upwards direction. This will be going on till Christmas. If it works then it will be continued in the new year, if it doesn´t, then it will be back to updates once a week or so. As you´ve probably gathered I´m not happy with just 200 subscribers and really looking for 4 figures, not as an ego hey look at me sort of thing, but with less than that you really are just talking to yourself and with all the work involved you really do need a respectable size audience to make the effort worthwhile. Guaranteed AD FREE regardless of how many subscribers and views a video gets.

Ten things on the horizon starting from 15 November 2016

1. Change in Frequency of updates. Things are speeding up in prophetic terms and time is getting short and many definite prophetic signs confirm this. The target is at least 50 quality videos by the end of 2016. Currently it stands at 25 or so updates and will be shifting from once a week to a minimum of 3 times a week but more likely 4-5 times a week and updates will be Monday to Friday. No updates on the weekend unless there has been something exceptional in news terms.

2. Change in type of content. End Times News Flashes like Paul Begely featuring myself giving commentary and views. Bible Prophecy seems popular so will be focusing more on that as well and how it relates to current events around the world. The Exposed series is also popular so will be doing more of that, one of my favourite topics, I´m particularly not keen on false prophets, false preachers and fake Christians and can get quite vicious on the matter. These people are not in the faith and do not deserve to be approached as mentioned in the Bible on a one on one basis. That is reserved for true Christians who may be going astray and not these wolves in sheep´s clothing types that are causing all sorts of problems and destroying the faith from the inside! Christian Spirituality will also feature, it´s not so popular at present, but is a slow burner and will continue as this is primarily a Christian Channel and is ultra important. Either way, no more eye candy, except via the upcoming newly produced trailers.

3. Channel no longer shows number of subscribers. This is just a vanity thing and I notice a lot of real deal Christians do not have this activated so mine has been de-activated as well. Further details on that in the video.

4. Style of delivery. This is a sombre topic and requires a sombre delivery but there will be micro bursts of dry humour on occasion. . If you're looking for uplifting soft and fluffy sugar coated candy floss dreams and visions style Christianity you are in the wrong place. I don't wear crosses, wear shades when filming, or make up, or wear T Shirts with Bible verses or slogans. If you are looking for the real deal on the front line Joshua in your face style delivery that is prepared to give you some time and eye contact, this is it. If you want the truth then you are definitely in the right place.

5. Comments and Up votes and Down Votes. Leave a comment I will try to reply ASAP. Leave an up vote I will try and return the favour if I can identify who actually left the up vote. Down Votes are just as important as they give an indication of what people are actually looking for and what quality they are expecting.

6. I'm not a teenager which seems to be the predominant user on You Tube apparently in the 16-19 bracket. I have some grey hair, bags under my eyes, no hair dye, no cosmetic surgery, a chipped front tooth, no botox, no make up. If that's a problem........ my answer is simply Unsubscribe. There will be no silly antics but there could be some bloopers and believe me there are plenty of those.. The last video didn't even shave, had a rough nights sleep of about 1 hour with hair sticking up just for a laugh. Most popular vid so far in views per first day terms. Just proves that theory wrong but an effort will be made to look sort of presentable instead of somebody that looks like they have been dragged through a hedge backwards.

7. Vlogs and News and Prophecy is the way forward. Everything will appear on You Tube first, then social media then via a blog post at The Twelve Gates.org official website with the video embedded in the post. In effect the videos will be tweeted twice, once raw and once embedded in a blog post. Twitter will still be the dominant news source, but if you are looking for the original content and maybe an hour or two earlier and want to be ahead of the information curve, subscribe to this channel and be in the know!

8. Video Quality and locations
Will be shooting in various locations around London and Hertfordshire both indoors and outdoors. New mic has made a huge difference can now shoot anywhere. Striving to keep video quality and sound and content high. Will be experimenting with different video formats and styles and also lighting. No plans at present to go beyond using the mobile which does HD at 1080p. I upload at 720p which is more than enough for this sort of thing.

9. A shout out to the following vloggers for their light bulb moment help in hopefully transforming this channel. Don´t exactly come across as Christian Channels or even Christians, maybe they are but either way listening to them as been a light bulb moment.

Brittney Lee Saunders Beauty VLogger. I though what I was doing was hard, she spends about 5 times longer doing her videos hence the well earned success.

Casey Neistat Beyond description Vlogger which is about as far removed from Christianity that you can get but learnt a lot from this guy.

10. This is primarily a Christian Channel but it's aimed at Christians and Non Believers alike. In fact I operate with the view that the healthy do not need to see a doctor but the sick do. Jesus said that once, that's why he spent more time with sinners and the needy that needed help rather than those that did not. This is not a Christian social club, it's not even a ministry really, but Brothers and Sisters in the faith are welcome and are also welcome to pull me up if my preaching is not on the mark, but my target audience is non believers and those that need some help or guidance. My attitude is... you come to me, I do not come to you!

The latest news on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel, the latest developments, what is going on behind the scenes and future plans. Been doing a lot of looking around at other channels, not only the incredibly successful ones, but the ones that just are not cracking it whatsoever. At present The Twelve Gates You Tube channel is neither incredibly successful but neither is it in the "just not cracking it whatsoever" category either. It´s not struggling, but sort of creeping relentlessly slowly forward and looks to be showing no signs of speeding up any time in the near future, not with the current content and update frequency. Which has got me thinking?

This announcement is being put out as over the next couple of weeks I will be spending considerably more time over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel with the target to have 50 quality videos on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel by the end 2016. That´s if we are are still here? This means I will be spending less time over at this website and the associated Twitter @ThatFJ. These two just seem to be snowballing on their own these days, so a slow down in pace will not adversely affect them much in any way. Just don´t have much free time these days, so something has to give somewhere. There should be the same number of blog post updates per week (currently 3) but they may be slightly more erratic on days released and the posts will be shorter than usual. Any major headlines appearing will still be at Twitter but some videos maybe appearing to replace the current tweets coming from outside sources.

Have been watching a lot of How To videos on how to take your You Tube channel to the next level. Recommended is a channel called Video Creators  . Learnt a lot from this Tim Schmoyer guy and even he admits the early days of his channel were slow, crawling on all fours and there was not much enthusiasm for the videos he was producing. Some people even report posting videos and after two weeks they have ZERO views. At least The Twelve Gates channel is not in that category. This is where a lot of people just give up, thankfully I´m not one of those types..... but sometimes it is tempting.

Over the next couple of weeks quite a few new videos are planned to be published trying out different ideas and formats. Those that prove popular and more importantly get some sort of community involvement will be adopted on a permanent basis. Other videos that are flagging and look like they are non starters will be scrapped, deleted or maybe released and given a makeover, and other new ideas and formats will be tried. You Tube is all about views and subscribers but if they are not involved with your channel and leaving comments and actively engaging with your content, then the numbers are just a pointless ego trip and nothing more.

Here´s my analysis of The Twelve Gates Video Channel which is coming up to 10 months old from the release of the first video.

The first video went out on this channel on early February and the channel has moved through the following formats

Prophetic News Watch: Jason A style videos featuring a compilation of end times news headlines from the past month with no soundtrack as a backing, just news. Some interest, but nothing to get excited about. A lot of work to produce for just a couple of hundred views in a month or so. These were scrapped

End Times Topic Music Videos: these were based on something like the Last Messages channel at You Tube but focused on one topic such as Hail, Tsunamis, Fireballs, Earthquakes, Strange Skies, RFID etc. All were backed by a thumping in your face soundtrack and predictably these proved successful and one in particular is still getting interest now 6 months later. The problem with these videos was yes they were successful but this is primarily a Christian website and Christian You Tube channel and the crowd it was attracting was the "extreme weather porn" brigade instead of people more interested in End Times and it´s Biblical connections. So these were stopped. Wasn´t getting that many subscribers from these videos either.

End Times Photo Slide Shows and News Mix: a mixture of End Times photos and screen grabs of End Times News Headlines topic focused with some live news as an intro and a soundtrack backing later in the video. Some were successful most were flops. These were scrapped.

NEW: The Video Commentary Series. Complete change of focus, away from using other peoples content to create a mash up of videos with the associated copyright claim issues, and instead focusing on producing original content with a Christian bias covering all sorts of topics including Prophecy, End Times News Commentary, Christianity and Spirituality and other topics to do with the Book of Revelation. Featuring myself talking for 10-15 minutes giving my views and thoughts. RESULT: some videos are doing well, others are slow, some complete flops but the subscriber count has doubled in about a month or so and videos even with low view counts seem to be getting more comments, interest and interaction from other Christians in particular. This strongly suggests that this is one direction The Twelve Gates Channel should go. You Tube is not just about videos it´s about interaction as well. If you are getting no interaction, you are missing the point of what the platform is all about. I love producing these videos and they are more fun than producing video mash ups which granted are amazing when finished but the work to view/subscriber ratio for this channel was just not working out.

Other Video styles and Formats:
Other videos styles are being looked into such as End Times News Analysis similar to the Blog posts but instead live on video, a bit like Paul Begley (Are you serious) on You Tube.He seems to do well out if it and seems to have a good time doing it as well. Other videos that are flagging and look like they are non starters will be scrapped, deleted and other new ideas and formats will be tried.  Also maybe Bible Prophecy study and analysis and other forms of video style are being looked into. The Screen Recording style videos seem to do well as well for some reason and this is also being looked into.

Equipment.

You may notice on the last two videos that were shot outside in Holland Park in West London (sample of one below) the sound quality has increased dramatically as I have recently purchased an external microphone that plugs into my mobile and the difference is staggering. Have tried it on a windy day and it cuts out all the annoying wind noises that can ruin a video. Have also invested in some lighting (further details below). I am looking at possibly getting a DSLR with an external microphone in the future (have a tripod already) but need to see an increase in numbers before that is considered. In the meantime I currently shoot with my mobile that has 1080P which I downsize to 720P which is good enough for most situations and cuts down the file sizes.

Locations:

I like shooting outdoors but the problem was you are tied to the weather with the wind being your sound enemy. This problem has been removed with the new external microphone which means you can record anywhere, at anytime (unless it´s really windy) even in busy noisy streets. Should make for some interesting videos in the future, which I will be experimenting with for sure!

Have invested in some form of lighting (boot sale job for 1 pound) which will be used for more studio style videos indoors ,when it´s raining outside or trees are being uprooted by hurricane force winds outside.

Quality:
The last few videos produced have been of variable quality regarding sound and lighting and these are my first attempts at doing such videos, but they are improving, all of them are unscripted bar a couple of the longer ones where I used subject headings and pointers to keep things flowing. The aim is to produce high quality videos in visual terms and in sound terms that are not far short of something shot with professional equipment, it can be done with a mobile, it just takes a bit of practice.

New Intro

A new The Twelve Gates Video professional style intro has been trialled on one video which I call "the falling dominoes intro" and will probably be appearing on all future videos wit the new tag line "leading you to the truth"

Cards:
The latest two videos uploaded feature a New You Tube feature called "End Cards" which gives a link to The Twelve Gates website and a subscribe link plus one or two related videos at the last twenty seconds of the video.

Summary.

That´s the latest developments over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel which I plan to be developing in a big way over the coming couple of months until the end of 2016. Target is 50 out of this world videos (currently the channel has just over 20) and something to rival the The Twelve Gates Twitter and The Twelve Gates website. There will be a lot of ruthless chopping and changing of videos around and much experimenting. From experience if a video is not cracking it in the first 24 hours, chances are it will have severely reduced chances of cracking it in the future, but some videos have proved that theory wrong, but not many.

The main problem for the You Tube Channel is the Twitter which is successful and there is not much incentive to go over to subscribe at You Tube at present if the updates appear over at Twitter. With the You Tube Channel becoming more community and socially focused however, there is a "missing the boat" incentive to subscribe to that channel as well, something you will miss if you are just over at Twitter. Just depends what you are looking for, social interaction or just something to tell you when the next update is. Exciting times ahead over at The Twelve Gates You Tube (assuming no World war 3)....

Originally as stated in the last The Twelve Gates News article, this website had no intentions of having a Facebook presence in the form of an account or Page. Checking the website stats over the weekend reveals that a few posts are getting shared on Facebook in some shape or form, which got the brain cells ticking. This weekend strangely enough I had a play around with Facebook on the off chance that maybe it has changed. On realising I have an old account that has never really been used, but was used for other websites I have had in the past for Fan Pages which proved popular in the past. Managed to access the account, and the thought was this account could MAYBE be set up to feature a Fan Page for The Twelve Gates? It can´t be that hard?

After half an hour of messing around, a Page was created, which means in effect The Twelve Gates now has a presence at Facebook in the form of a Page which is called The Twelve Gates Media. This is currently BETA and went live on 4 October 2016 and has just a couple of posts. Initially as the name suggests this will feature media covering End Times News and Prophetic Event headlines but at present in video format only, featuring my videos and others. This will also feature the latest website news as and when it is released. This content will be different to what appears on Twitter unless it´s something urgent like say the current Hurricane Matthew. Lets just say this Facebook Page is the result of "Divine Intervention," as personally I had no intention of having a Facebook presence.

This just adds another dimension to The Twelve Gates in it gives it a massive increase in exposure, as many people are on Facebook which is even bigger than Twitter.

As stated earlier this The Twelve Gates Media at Facebook Page is currently BETA and just a mess around but is getting interest after 2 days even before this news announcement has been made which is always a good sign.

The Twelve Gates Website
There seems to be a surge in interest in The Twelve Gates website over the last month or two. Updates are currently 3 times a week and the posts are moving away from Extreme Weather and Natural Disasters and becoming more focused on End Times, Society and Spirituality and Book of Revelation Prophecy coming to fruition in our modern age. Even started covering controversial topics such as Christian Prepping and False Mega Preachers which is proving particularly popular. . The Twitter for The Twelve Gates is the best bet for an up to date look at what is going on in the world in Extreme Weather and Natural Disaster terms including News, Photos and Videos.

Some shorter posts may start creeping into the mix that will be more news related covering topics that are not so research intensive (some posts take days of research) , something that is being looked into which will add another dimension to the website.

Blog updates are either Tues, Wed, Thursday or Wed, Thurs, Friday depending on how much research is involved over the weekend hence why there are no blog posts or limited Twitter updates on the weekend.

The Twelve Gates You Tube
Big changes on here as well with a move away from Extreme Weather and Natural disasters and focusing more on other topics with an End Times bias. There are so many channels out there now doing End Times material, I decided not to be one of many but go in a completely new pioneering direction with videos featuring a personal appearance from myself getting up close and personal.

The new video series are called "Commentary" and are in a Vlog and RAW format but in HD. Just 2 at present, but more are on their way. They feature myself either expressing views or giving out some information on the hot topics of the moment either in the news or on the Web or on The Twelve Gates website. All recorded on my mobile. May also feature me having a rant, or getting out something that is on my mind that people may need to be aware of. These videos are much easier to make, seem to generate more interest with regards to interaction and comment. These videos are embedded into relevant blog posts on The Twelve Gates website to give it an extra dimension. Latest video link here talking about The Rapture.

It's original content and doesn't involve hours of post production work, just record, upload the video and You Tube processes it and does the rest. No issues with copyright, so I think this is the way forward. Currently updating about once a week, if they are popular they could be 2 or 3 times a week, because they are easy to produce. Looking at recording at other locations and also looking at other formats or styles of video in the future such as video slideshow with some commentary from myself in the background covering current hot end Times topics. Documentary style videos is another option.

The videos are currently being recorded down the basement at work, it's fairly quiet, with reasonable lighting and private. The backdrop is not great but is being looked into. These videos are currently being released on or near Tuesday but will try to be at least weekly.

At present I'm not responding to comments over at You Tube but that is something that is being looked into in the near future because not only is it a video platform, it's a social network as well.

The Twelve Gates Twitter.
Most of the tweets at The Twelve Gates Twitter are either updates from the You Tube channel or the latest blog posts from the website and End Times videos from You Tube or news links. May add some more personal but End Times related tweets. May also be a bit more interactive which will add another dimension to the Twitter experience instead of just one way communication. Update times are currently as follows:

All times approximate subject to news availability and number of tweets will vary on a day to day basis.

Video sources that appear on Twitter have been changed recently avoiding the bigger names in favour of the lesser known but equally good or better smaller channels. They will still be used on occasion if there is something important you need to know about.

Business as usual over at The Twelve Gates Google Plus with followers gradually creeping up. If you prefer Google Plus to Twitter hit us up and Circle us over there.

Facebook
There are no plans to join Facebook now or in the future. Just doesn't float my boat. Not keen on their policies regarding media and not keen on the interface either, so I will be sticking with You Tube, Twitter and Google Plus. I think that's more than enough.

Finally this needs to be said. I run this and all associated websites on my own and only have 1 pair of eyes. If anybody that follows The Twelve Gates website, Twitter or You Tube comes across any End Times information or News that would be relevant please let me know either via email on the contact page of the website or via social media. I do miss things and 20 pairs of eyes are better than one and 17k pair of eyes is better than 20! I can't pay you for the information but you will get credit wherever the information appears. The Twelve Gates Website News June 2016

The latest news from The Twelve Gates website and associated websites for June 2016. What has been happening behind the scenes, what changes have taken place and what is in the pipeline and other general news to do with the Twelve Gates.

Was on holiday last week. Desperately needed a break from the End Times game, it can get a bit depressing at times. Did some much needed work on The Twelve Gates website that never seems to get done, and some changes have been made as listed below and on the other associated websites.

Website News

The Twelve Gates website has gone through a number of experimental design changes from the initial simple single page Blog Layout onto the more recent two column designs and now the recent incarnation which is a Newspaper|Magazine style theme. I think this is design No 5. This one seems to be getting the thumbs up from all quarters including myself, visitors and Google.. It looks good, loads fast, is easy to find your way around, has loads of menus. In short it's a slick little number. I think we'll stick with this one. The website also has been tested on mobiles and tablets and looks good there as well.

Onto the content. The style of the website is changing to end times news commentary and opinion and Christianity and spirituality, rather than just fact. The most popular post by far on this website is "The Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross" eclipsing all the extreme weather and natural disaster articles which you think would be the most popular. The subject matter covered will be going a bit broader beyond The End Times, but will still have End times as it's main theme.

Each topic category now has it's own RSS feed and the sites feed also now has it's own Icon amongst the social media icons on the top right on the main page as well as in the footer. 2 sets of Daily Bible quotes are featured on the main page from different sources. The photo based one was scrapped as it was taking too long to load and slowing the site down.

Posts and Updates will now be AT LEAST two a week and I'm looking to make it about 4 or a week. Posts will now feature added embedded videos from various sources to add a bit of eye candy and a multimedia angle to each article instead of just boring video links.

The Book of Revelation Chapters 1 to 22 with a brief description of what that chapter is all about has been added over last week. Pictures and videos may be added in the future to each chapter to expand the information further. Very important Book of the Bible this one, it's the very backbone of what this website is all about and how it got it's name and what started it. Links may also appear within the text of each chapter leading you to articles on the website that further expand and explain that word, phrase or parable.

Comments are now accepted on the website and are checked pretty much Daily during the week. Most of the current comments are basically Spam but have been included as they are 'nice spam', if there is such a thing. Anything you agree or disagree with on this website or anywhere else, get it off your chest and make it known. It's nice to hear my views, but it's nice to hear other peoples as well.

Topics Now clearly labelled on this website and having their own category on the main menu including Extreme Weather, Natural Disasters, Tech, The Cosmos, Unexplained, Book of Revelations, Society and more.

News Most of the articles at The Twelve Gates are commentary on news but it may feature some actual news articles as well in the future. Something that is being looked into.

Twitter

Minor or major change over at Twitter ThatFJ which used to be my personal account with my photo and my name has now been changed to The Twelve Gates as the name, my photo has been replaced with The Twelve Gates logo. The Twitter user name ThatFJ obviously remains unchanged. The content and everything including the owner else remains unchanged

Business as usual with tweets between 3 or 4 when it's quiet and 10 or 12 when it's busy. Normal times are early am, late am, some early pm and the last update about 9pm ish. Found some edgier sources of End Times info that have started to creep into the Twitter feed so it's now a good mixture of mainstream and alternative news, opinion and commentary, extreme weather and natural disasters, the strange weird and unexplained and more focus on the worrying changes in our modern day society.

Google Plus

Has been out there for just over a month now and the last time I looked it had 127 followers and rising slowly. This social media channel tackles some more controversial End Times material stuff that provokes discussion and commentary. Major headings over there include End Times News, End Times Articles, End Times Video and Spirituality. Blog posts from the Twelve Gates feature over there as well. I personally prefer this Google Plus to Facebook which I'm not a fan of but the downside it doesn't have as many people using it as the social media giant Facebook as it is still fairly new. Updates are once a day 3 or 4 times a week, may go daily if it gets more followers.

You Tube

Currently 11 videos over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel. This channel is still in it's experimental phase. Some videos are proving hugely popular for such a new channel whilst others are just getting 100 or so views. Still looking at different types of video format going ahead with the emphasis on more original content and video footage. BUT will still feature the video compilation/mash up format with thumping soundtrack as some are proving popular. They will still be produced. Recently got a microphone from the Boot Sale for next to nothing and will be playing around with this for video purposes. As they say watch this space?

Tumblr

Currently just a duplicate of what is over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel but featuring videos in a Blog format. Again looking at ways of making this Tumblr to feature content independent of the You Tube channel Again watch for further news.

Newsletter. Currently just an experiment to see if anybody is interested. The big websites seem to do this but it only works when you have masses of visitors coming to the site which this site doesn't have yet.

Email Subscription. If you are not getting updates via RSS and Twitter and prefer Email this is currently being looked into and a link or similar may appear for people who want to get the latest updates via this method.

A quick latest news update for The Twelve Gates for May 2016 covering the Website, Twitter and You Tube and other new associated websites.

The Website: All change at The Twelve Gates Website. Now has a new look with a different navigation and more items in the right sidebar that lead you to different places on the website or to the other Twelve Gates Websites over at Wordpress or Tumblr.  The old design was not going down well with Google at all but this new one seems to be getting the thumbs up from the Google Bots.

All the personal stuff now has links at the bottom of the website along with contact details. This new design is currently just in a basic text format, but under the hood has the potential and options contained within it to totally transform the look and feel of The Twelve Gates website, which will make it more visually attractive, even easier to get around for new and existing website visitors. This is still being played around with at present. The website may just stay as it is mainly text, or it maybe the new turbocharged in your face format may be adopted. The new design is fully tablet and mobile friendly and compatible.

Post count is being increased from 1 a week to 2 a week (excluding after bank holidays). Articles come out Thursday or Friday. Looking at a possible doubling again in the months ahead if there is increased interest with some added news, items produced here as opposed to via external sources!

Social Media share buttons are now located at the bottom of each place if you wish to share the Article on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Reddit etc. Also  5 related posts appear at the bottom of each article as well either random or random and related for further reading.

YouTube:

Changes over at the Twelve Gates YouTube Channel. The focus from now on will be more on topic related videos that run as backups to the main Blog article over at The Twelve Gates website. These topic focused videos are getting many times more views than the monthly news vids. Not sure whether it is the videos and topics themselves or the music, maybe both. Either way some videos are getting a couple of thousand views in a short period of time (many more than the monthly news vids) without any promotion on my part or via You Tube, which for a new channel is not bad at all.

Therefore it has been decided to drop the Monthly Prophetic News Watch. A couple of hundred views over a number of weeks for these videos means a thumbs down, hence why there has been no May 2016 Prophetic News Watch. Still looking at doing some different formats for videos maybe some commentary on the latest news, or maybe Prophetic News on a Weekly basis as most of the competition out there seem to do. Watch for further news and developments on that.

Updates at You Tube come out late on Friday or early on Saturday.

Twitter:

The Twelve Gates Twitter is now moving pretty much away from the mainstream media and featuring more alternative news (as basically that's what The Twelve Gates website is) from respected sources, but the mainstream media still features as and when, just less so than in the past. A lot of the subject matter that this website is interested in, doesn't even register at times with the mainstream media, but is incredibly interesting none the less and is fact not fiction. Quantity of Tweets remain the same a dozen or so maybe more when busy, 3 or 4 when it's quiet and any number in between.

Tumblr and Wordpress are still in their formative stages. Have also recently registered at Pinterest. Again this is another social media account that is in it's formative stages of development.Still deciding what to do with it?
