Mystery Babylon in Revelation. Who are the three main candidates?
Who, what or where is Mystery Babylon that was mentioned by St John the Divine in the Book of Revelation Prophecy nearly 2000 years ago? There are many candidates for the title of Mystery Babylon but the main three that come up time and time again and seem to stand the test of time are:
1. Rome, Italy and The Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church
2. Mecca, Saudi Arabia and Islam
3. New York or Washington DC or even maybe LA and/or the US/America.
There is a fourth which is quoted by many and that is Jerusalem and Israel, but this is not up for consideration at this time. The three that will be focused on are the three most consistently popular theories out there that are backed by scripture in various shapes or forms and to varying degrees. These three possiiblities for Mystery Babylon are very different animals indeed, that appear in vastly different locations and embracing totally different cultures. This is yet another topic that results in some extremely heated debate, but which one of these three is it and does the Book of Revelation scripture and Prophecy contain the key to narrow it down very clearly to just one candidate?

Where Mystery Babylon appears in Scripture.
Mystery Babylon is mentioned in the Book of Revelation in Chapters 17 and 18 and the beginning of Chapter 19, so quite a large portion of Revelation Prophecy is tied up with this entity, which tends to suggest that it is of some significant importance in the Revelation timeline.
Who or What or Where is Mystery Babylon.
The scripture of Revelation makes it quite clear that Mystery Babylon is initially depicted as a woman in the form of a Harlot that rides "The Beast", and the Beast and this Harlot seem to be closely linked. The mention of Mystery Babylon and it's status as a woman is merely symbolic in the earlier stages of the relevant Chapters and is explained in greater detail as the scripture progresses. It is made quite clear that it is not a Woman or even a person, but a location and more to the point a city mentioned as a "Great City". It is also possibly an organisation, establishment or institution or something with religious connotations that is instantly recognised around the world.
The What is Mystery Babylon is the easy part of the puzzle to solve as it is mentioned quite clearly in Revelation Scripture but it is the What and Where is where things are not so clear and where the heated debate starts.
What is Mystery Babylon Bible Verses
These are the verses that clearly state WHAT Mystery Babylon is and a clue is given to where this entity is located. This city has dealings with many nations and the city is located on or near "Seven Mountains" which in some versions of the Bible is mentioned as "Seven Hills"
Rev 17.1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgement of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters
Rev 17.9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth.
Rev 17.15 And he saith unto me, The Waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues
What role does Mystery Babylon play in the End Times?
Mystery Babylon plays quite a significant role in End Times Prophecy as it has a devastating effect on Christians as mentioned in the following two verses
Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
What are Christians advised to do with regard to Mystery Babylon?
It is made very clear above that Mystery Babylon is an adversary to Christians and "The Church" mentioned in the New Testament many times. So much so that anybody that is part of this Mystery Babylon in any shape or form are advised strongly to leave, otherwise you will be subjected to the same judgement as Mystery Babylon itself. This is a strong indicator that Mystery Babylon could be a False Church which would rule out Islam and Mecca as one of the candidates for Mystery Babylon. As is revealed in the video though, Mecca ticks many boxes in the prophecy contained in Revelation including some interesting cross references, so things are not so clear cut.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues

This event certainly has a Biblical feel to it, not the magnitude of the event but there is a definite build up to something going on here with a strong pattern in time terms. Locals were calling it an Apocalyptic event and this follows on from the August and October quakes from last year which resulted in large 6.2 quake in August and many thousands of aftershocks, as in 45,000. The gaps seem to be consistently around the 2-3 month mark.

Rome has luckily been left unscathed yet again, but the recent Quakes on 18 January 2017 were felt, and were closer than the last Earthquakes of August and October. This time they were merely 100 km away. The quakes were so strong that they caused buildings in Rome to shake.
The times of the four Tremors: The first tremor happened at 10.25am local time, with the last felt shortly after 2.30pm. The magnitudes of the quakes varied between 5.3 and 5.7. Office workers were seen rushing out onto the streets, schools in the area were closed down and the cities metro system was suspended. as a result of these recent series of four earthquakes.
Since the first big quake struck on Aug 24 when a devastating 6.2 magnitude earthquake ripped through central Italy, killing hundreds and leaving thousands homeless, the region has been shaken by more than 45,000 aftershocks according to geologists. The question that springs to mind is whether there is a big one brewing and more specifically whether Rome bizarrely is eventually the target? The destruction of the potential Mystery Babylon??
5 Earthquakes are mentioned in the final book of the Bible as in The Book of Revelation. 3 are mentioned as GREAT earthquakes the other two are just mentioned as earthquakes. It´s the one mentioned in the sixth seal which would be the most relevant.

Mystery Babylon has revealed itself and Revelation 18 has just been fulfilled? But has it? This is a closer look at a very interesting video that I spotted just before Christmas which was left on the side to become an article for the New Year and it is an eye opener. This is part of a new way forward for this website, not just putting out my views and opinions but also taking a look at other reasonably feasible theories from elsewhere that are backed up by scripture.
The topic of Mystery Babylon was covered in a previous article and there are many theories on what Mystery Babylon actually is. The main front runners are
1. New York (or Washington DC) and America
2. The Roman Catholic Church, Vatican and Rome, Italy
3. Mecca and Saudi Arabia and Islam.
Each theory has a solid backing in terms of views and opinions and numbers of people and as I stated in order of likelihood I personally think it is Saudi Arabia, Rome the second and the least likely is the US. That´s just my opinion and scripture seems to back it up, others will disagree and some quite strongly, but I've seen little evidence to suggest otherwise, but this video does raise the odds slightly for the Catholic Church and certainly the opening picture shown above which features in the video is an eye opener.
The On Point Preparedness (OPP) You Tube Channel, a channel that I only bumped into before Christmas, which seems to be very popular and on the rise, produced this video below covering the latest meeting held with the worlds business leaders chaired by the Pope. It smacks of further implementation of the 2030 Agenda mentioned in a previous article which forms the backbone of the New world Order of one currency, one government, one religion, one world with no boundaries, one language, one ID, one financial/banking system and all the rest. This would equate to the Beast system mentioned in Revelation 13 and of course the associated mark.
The owner of this OPP Channel is apparently an ex catholic, so is in a strong position to give an insider view from the outside of the Catholic faith. I have had limited dealings with Catholicism so I'm not really qualified to comment on it, but what little I have seen, has not impressed me much at all, but my attitude is each to their own. I'm personally non-denominational these days.

What's my view on all this?
So has Mystery Babylon been revealed and part of Revelation 18 Fulfilled. It certainly is interesting and raises the profile of the Catholic Church as Mystery Babylon, but in my humble opinion the jigsaw pieces even now, a lot DO fit, but the fit is still not 100%. For Prophecy to be correct it has to be 100%, not 90% or 95% or even 99% but 100%.
The Pope is most certainly up to something, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out, but for me I still think he could be the False Prophet. The Mekudeshet event last year amongst many others, would be another case in point. Let's just say I keep one eye on the Pope at all times.
Here´s a couple of lines of scripture that throw a spanner in the works of the Rome and the Catholic Church as Mystery Babylon.
Revelation 18:17-19 17. For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every ship master, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18. And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19. And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
1. If Rome is Mystery Babylon why are sailors, ships, ship masters, the sea mentioned so frequently. Rome is inland and is a not a seaport. Saudi Arabia is classed as a Desert in the Sea and imports most of it´s goods and is a better fit.
2. Verse 19 is particularly bizarre "And they cast dust on their heads and cried weeping and wailing". Casting dust on the head is a Middle Eastern custom that is not found in Europe or America. Why is this mentioned if Mystery Babylon is in the West such as Rome and not in the Middle East.
3. All of Revelation is focused pretty much around Israel and Jerusalem and the neighbouring Middle Eastern areas.
4. The Vatican is decked out in finery as mentioned in Revelation but is it making it's merchants rich. Certainly this recent meeting with the world business leaders would fit that description, but again Saudi Arabia by it's sheer importing power and incredible consumption has made more merchants rich?
Moving onto Revelation 19:2-3
2. For true and righteous are his judgements: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
If you cross reference Verse Rev 19:3 you come up with this:
Isaiah 34:9-10 9 It's streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch. 10 It will not be quenched night or day; Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever.
This prophecy has not happened yet and has not been fulfilled in Revelation either, nothing on this planet has continually burnt with smoke going on for ever and ever..........unless I've missed something?
What is Pitch. Wikipedia Definition?
Pitch is a name for any of a number of viscoelastic polymers. Pitch can be natural or manufactured, derived from petroleum, coal tar or plants. Various forms of pitch may also be called tar, bitumen or asphalt. Pitch produced from plants is also known as resin.
Italy imports 90% of it''s coal. It is not a producer of coal so that rules out Pitch derived from coal tar. Italy does have recently found oil reserves but nothing in comparison to say a country like Saudi Arabia that would burn forever and ever.

Out of those 4 countries which is the smallest and therefore has the densest oil reserves per square km? The finger points at Saudi Arabia. What country could burn and it´s smoke would go up forever and ever, certainly the incredibly concentrated oil reserves of Saudi Arabia fit that description??
Revelation 18:11-13 11. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12. The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13. And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Revelation 18:12 could certainly apply to the Vatican with the colours Purple and Scarlet being particularly relevant. This one is often quoted by the Rome and Mystery Babylon backers. The first part of Revelation 18:13 could also apply. BUT this could also be said of Saudi Arabia who is a huge importer of such products as the country is mainly desert.
It´s in the latter part of Verse 13 where everything falls flat on it´s face with regard to Rome and the Vatican. Italy is renowned for producing it´s own Oil such as Olive Oil, it´s own wine, it grows it´s own wheat (thin durum for pasta), has it´s own farms, produces it´s own cars (chariots). Slavery maybe in the past, souls of men yes. Apply Verse 13 to a country like Saudi Arabia and the pieces fit shockingly almost perfectly, especially when you throw the Islamic religion into the equation which Mecca is the capital city of.
The Old... Revelation is in Chronological Order - Not in Chronological Order debate?
This is the debate that brings out the Bible scholars in droves who state that the Book of Revelation is in Chronological Order or it is NOT in Chronological Order. My view is it is in Chronological Order mostly with some parallels in places. There are only two entities that really know the answer to that question and that is St John the Divine who is no longer with us who received the vision and the entity that gave him the vision in the first place and that is God. It doesn't matter how many letters you have after your name, whether you have studied Revelation for centuries and written a best selling book on it, the fact remains those are the only two entities that really know..........anything else is merely just theory and mans interpretation.
Revelation 18 is an example that is almost near to the end of the Book of Revelation. It is the last event before Christ’s return in glory at Armageddon in the next chapter. It is placed after the wrath of God is poured out and before Christ’s return. To say that Revelation 18 has been fulfilled would be like saying that the Wrath of God has been poured out via the Great Tribulation which quite clearly is not the case. That's if you hold the Chronological view. Even if you don''t hold the Chronological view, things don''t quite line up?
Summary.
The three front runners for mystery Babylon remain the same New York, US...... Vatican, Rome and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. There will be others emerging in the future, to challenge these three established locations, entities. As always with Prophecy that has been written by somebody else, it is easy to arrive at certain theories, it's getting all those jigsaw pieces not only to fit together but to present you with a clear and not scrambled picture. On a final note I suggest you watch this video below which appeared in the previous article on Mystery Babylon which goes into great detail on why he thinks and myself included that Saudi Arabia is Mystery Babylon and really is the strongest argument that is backed up by scripture. The Catholic Church and Rome is still a strong candidate but just slightly less convincing even with the recent developments and meeting taken into account which is compelling evidence. The direct scripture in Revelation 18 is clos,e but when you look for confirmations via cross referencing in the Old Testament, the Rome Mystery Babylon theory comes short! Trump and the US Election Results and Bible Prophecy
So the unthinkable has happened and Donald Trump has beaten Hillary Clinton to become the President of the United States of America after the recent release of the US Election Results. After allowing for the dust to settle the question is "What now?" and more to the point how does this relate to Bible Prophecy, if at all? This article is just my views supported by just one video that was uploaded last night with my thoughts on the subject as it was quicker to do that then write a whole article on the subject. As was hinted in that video quite strongly I was expecting another BREXIT moment which did in fact materialise the following day. There will be many personal, political and economic and global views out there, Google to your hearts content but this will be based on Bible Prophecy and how this Trump win affects End Times prophecy events..........if at all?
The picture above is simply an American Flag with a few words, no picture of Trump, if Clinton had won, it would have been the same. This is not a celebrity website! Never has been..........never will be!
The Election Result Shocker
So with the US Election results in today (see the Twelve Gates Twitter) this begins the process of the replacement of the current President who hands the Baton over to the new President of the US. Firstly there is the 70 odd days until the Presidential Inauguration event which takes place on January 20th 2017. That's a long time, and plenty of things can happen between now and that fateful date. Plenty of things.
Be prepared for more shocks on the way, but the shock waves were being felt already around the globe with the financial markets reeling at this shock election result with the dollar showing particularly worrying trends in the downward department along with the Dow Jones. Mexico is also seeing a similar effect. A recent speech from the man himself put the markets at ease. Whether this is just post election result jitters or signs of a new downward trend, this again remains to be seen.
Beyond the politics and the economics of a Trump win and claiming the US Presidency we will be looking at the Biblical significance of the World No1 superpower being led by such a character.
What did the candidates represent?
Lets first take a look at the loser, Hilary Clinton and what did she represent in Biblical terms. She was all for "Inclusiveness" more "Political Correctness" and the tearing down of walls, erosion of civil values and rights and the continued laying of foundations for the New World Order. Basically she would have been "More Obama". Some were saying that Clinton would have provoked World War 3 or at least Cold War 3. She represents the establishment and has been in politics a long time.
Trump represents a lot of things people do not like including you could say Racism (he´s not exactly Pro Latino´s and Muslims), the building of walls and most importantly returning the US to it´s old ways pre Obama. Russia seems particularly keen on him because he is NOT "part of the establishment" and has the same values that they have, as in not exactly Pro LGBT amongst many other virtues. Some say Trump is God´s answer in a disguised form to put a spanner in the works of the back building NWO plans and foundations as laid out by the 2030 Agenda.Trump in reality is not a politician, he is businessman first and foremost. Some were saying that there could be mass riots across the streets of the US as a result of this election win. Some events have broken out, once the dust settles, it remains to be seen whether this becomes a nationwide phenomenon on a massive scale. He is not in office yet. Just one step closer.
So what now?
So what now is the question? As mentioned earlier after the US Election Results a lot can happen in just over 70 days. Here´s some possibilities with a conspiracy theory bias.

A re-vote
Voting system error election delcared null and void
Health problems
Assasination
A Trump Gate scandal or something similar
Terorist attack, EMP and many more scenarios
Plenty of other things can happen along the way. Politics is a messy world and Trump being at present an outsider, not being part of the Political establishment could hit some unforeseeable problems. All this is speculation though and it remains to be seen whether these things will materialise.
The future and Bible Prophecy
How he deals with the current immigration issues could have an impact not only on neighbouring Mexico but also in the Middle East and that´s where this websites concern lies as that is as mentioned in the recent US Election results video, the Biblical Prophecy hot bed. There are also concerns over the US Economy especially the gargantuan Debt as shown at the USdebtclock.org. He is aware the US is in a Bubble situation did mention this in many of his election speeches. What he can or will do to reverse this situation remains to be seen. Expect more financial shocks on the way and severe cutbacks or raising of taxes or something to bring the US back into financial reality. This could have an impact on the US Dollar and the US Indices such as the Dow Jones & S&P 500 and Nasdaq and the component companies of those indexes. Whether there will be a Dollar Collapse a result of this election victory again remains to be seen. As I have said in the past, this would be the perfect scenario to bring about global chaos with minimal loss of life and provide the opportunity to bring in the New world Order solution to this problem as mentioned in Revelation 13.
Also mentioned in the video was "Mystery Babylon" mentioned in Revelation. Some say it is Italy and Rome and the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church, some say it is The US and either New York or Washington DC and others such as myself think it is Saudi Arabia, Mecca and Islam. Still others say it could be Jerusalem and a host of other countries. With this election now over and a Trump victory, we should start to see who the Mystery Babylon really is and whether it is the US or whether it is somewhere else.
Final Note
On a final note on the present President of the US who is still in office until 19 January 2017. What of him. As hinted at in the video, he has had many fingers pointed in his direction (I never subscribed to that theory see the in depth AC Article) stating that he is in fact what is mentioned in Revelation 13. If that is the case then a Trump Republican victory has foiled the passing of the Baton from one Democrat to another to continue his plans, if he is indeed what is mentioned in Revelation 13. If that is the case expect some bizarre, shocking or more unexpected and twist of events in the coming months and what I call "Irregularities" to surface which would reveal that all the rumours and finger pointing have turned out to be fact. This would be the revealing of said person mentioned in Revelation 13. It would also signal The First Seal in Revelation 6 (the rider of the White Horse) which precedes the Second Seal in Revelation 6 (The Rider of the Red Horse and World War 3). A possible elevation to Chairman of the UN on a permanent basis (something no world leader has ever had) would also be another indicator, or him running for a third term (unheard of) in office as US President due to unforeseen circumstances. That would also be a giveaway. . Something of that order would need to be seen in the coming months and nothing less. I´m not holding my breath on any of these things happening but the fact that they have been mentioned is something to be aware of.
On a conspiracy theory note. Maybe Trump was allowed to win to bring the US into chaos and cause an economic collapse that could trigger a global meltdown? Just a thought?
Summary.
On a personal note, I´m glad the whole US Election thing is now over, I was getting a bit sick of it, now we can get on with our lives. Nobody really knows what this Trump will be like once he actually takes residence in the White House. The media has painted a picture. Maybe it is correct. Maybe not. It could be a complete and utter disaster...OR....could be the best thing that has ever happened to the US????. With Trump, some have said we could have mass riots across the US, with Clinton some were saying we would be staring World War 3 in the face. As old people say with either one of them it´s "six of one and half a dozen of another".
In Biblical terms, has Trump bizarrely been put there to overturn all the LGBT nonsense and laws and sort out that monster debt and bring back some rights to the Americans on the street? The world is watching and we have 70 or so days to see what actually comes out in the wash before he takes office. As mentioned in the video, the result in Biblical Prophecy terms doesn´t matter whether Clinton or Trump wins as we are still heading along that Revelation railway track regardless and that is controlled by a far higher power than even the Superpower that is the US. What does matter is what surfaces between now and that Inauguration event. Plenty of things can happen within that time period and in these End Times, End Days..... nothing can be ruled out. Nothing!
Mystery Babylon. Where is it, what is it and the importance of this in the Book of Revelation and End Times Prophecy.
There are many theories as to what the Mystery Babylon or Mystery Babylon the Great mentioned in Revelation 17 and 18 in great detail is and what it represent. This article will narrow down what Mystery Babylon is in our modern times, why it is mentioned as a "Mystery" and the three prime candidates that fit most accurately the quite detailed description of who, what and where this place is.u
The three prime suspects are as follows:
1. Rome or more precisely The Vatican and The Roman Catholic Church.
2. America or more precisely New York
3. Saudi Arabia or more precisely Mecca and Islam
Istanbul in Turkey has been mentioned as another possibility, the original Babylon in Iraq, Europe and even London are others. These have not been looked into here but it has been mentioned many times by many people that Turkey has a role to play in the unfolding end times scenario and is always watched closely and cannot be ignored. Recent events unfolding confirm that fact. Some say it will be the seat of Satan in the End Times.
This is not a Prophetic article it´s just a demonstration that all of God´s plans are contained in the word. Only God has the whole picture. We just get the jigsaw puzzle and have to fit the pieces together via what is contained in the Bible. It´s just knowing where to look......but it is there, it just seems to reveal itself to people that have the understanding of how God works. This article ties in with The Rapture and the Tribulation article as Mystery Babylon is a key component within the forthcoming Tribulation time frame.
Everything about Mystery Babylon is contained in Revelation 17 and Revelation 18 and the detail is quite frightening in places as in it´s . If you cross reference from a hard copy KJV Bible from these two chapters you will be led to mainly two books. The Book of Isaiah and Jeremiah tie up closely with Revelation and many cross references reference those two books by these two Major Prophets from the Old Testament. Genesis also comes up on occasion especially with specific reference to Sodom and Gomorrah, which means this Mystery Babylon has similarities and will be judged accordingly. The cross references strongly suggest this!
When doing these Bible studies to see whether Rome, New York or any other city in the US and Mecca fit the bill....everything must align with the word...everything. Just having a theory and pulling out Bible Quotes to support that theory may seem convincing, BUT do ALL the jigsaw pieces fit?
The way this research was approached was via videos that each were convinced that their particular theory was correct and that it just can´t be denied. Many videos were watched and just four in my personal opinion, came up with a convincing argument that Mystery Babylon was definetly and undeniably the place that they think it is.
There are many Bible quotes in reference to Mystery Babylon but I have reduced it down to 23 verses/quotes which I think are key in identifying Mystery Babylon, some are major, some are very small details. Sometimes it´s the smaller details that really nail what and who and where this Mystery Babylon really is. Some people say the Book of Revelation is full of metaphors and symbolism and is not to be taken literally. Sometimes that is true, sometimes it isn´t. In Revelation 17 and 18 anything that is a metaphor or a symbol is quite clearly explained.
Here´s the key Bible quotes that give away the identity of Mystery Babylon and narrow things down quite convincingly to the Rome (Vatican), US (New York) and Saudi Arabia (Mecca) candidates.

Rev 17:3 America has Desert but it is to the West. New York has no wilderness or desert where the Statue of Liberty is based.

The argument that the prophecy is an old one and these are the goods that they had in those times does not hold either. Spices could be equated to drugs but if the Bible mentions Spices....then it is Spices.

Rev 18:7 Saudi Arabia has certainly glorified itself amongst the nations especially amongst it´s other Middle Eastern counterparts and proud of it´s powerful relations with the West.
Rev 18:9 "when they shall see the smoke of her burning". If Arabia was to experience agreat fire as mentioned in Revelation then there would be much burning and vast amounts of smoke due to the oil reserves that she has and the oil dependent West would sorely miss those supplies.
Rev 18:11 "And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more". Saudi Arabia is a net importer of Food and Goods as it has limited means of production. It imports around 80% and produces 20% locally.
Rev 18:12-13 All the merchandise mentioned in these two verses are very relevant to Saudi Arabia. Replace Chariots with cars and slaves with cheap imported labour from Africa and Asia working in horrific conditions on building sites and other jobs that Saudi´s do not want to do and this is a best fit of the three

Rev 18:19 "And they cast dust on their heads". This custom does not fit the New York US argument or even the Rome argument. What society casts dust on their heads and what country has plenty of dust? The Middle East. It´s an old Judaism custom and a symbol of mourning and is still practiced today by Islam although not as much as in the days of old.
Rev 18:23 Can´t see any fit in relation to Mecca or Saudi Arabia. Possibly Islam with the Sorcery as Islam is a Baal Worship based religion.

This is an extremely quick skim on how I look at the Prophecy in relation and how it fits in with our modern times. Mystery Babylon is a reference to a New Babylon that has yet to come (based at the time of the prophecy writings). Rome was around in Biblical Times but New York and America were not and the Religion Islam came after Christianity (about 600 years) which would also earn it a Mystery tag.
Each one of the four videos gives a convincing argument that makes you believe that particular theory is the best fit when viewed in isolation, but when viewed one after the other, the theories do not seem so clear cut. For me personally Mecca, Islam and Saudi Arabia tops the list, the pieces just seem to fit. New York and America a close second and Rome and The Vatican and the Catholic Church a close third. All 3 are inter connected in some way and in reality the best option is to watch all 3 closely for developments. For example the Pope visited the US for the first time on 23 September 2015 which gives strength to the Rome and US argument, but again always follow the scripture.
Finally what ultimately swayed my decision is to always remember, keep your eyes on the following areas in this order Jerusalem, Israel, and the Middle East. Most of Revelations is centred around those areas and Yes America, Russia and China are powerful but they are I think 3 of the Ten kings mentioned in Rev 17:12. The world could be divided into 10 kingdoms prior to the establishment of the New World Order One World Government.

Is there an economic collapse coming in late 2016 possibly led by the US, possibly as early as September/October 2016? With the Dow Jones at record highs and headlines saying things in the US are great, why bother writing such an article, surely it´s ridiculous?
Many respected financial experts have predicted that the US Stock Market will collapse and many others are predicting the US dollar collapse. In normal times these would have happened by now, but these are not normal times. We are not talking a 1000 point drop on the Dow or the US Dollar dropping say 5% which would be bad enough, we are talking drops here the likes of which have never been seen, something of Biblical proportions like off a cliff edge, that no amount of market intervention will stop. This may happen, it may not.
Please note this is a disturbing read in some places and is more a "What if" article rather than a "This is actually going to happen", but the fact remains in could happen. Everything is explained in Layman terms for anybody to understand.
Many top financial experts have predicted this ( I mean a lot) since the crash in 2008 and have been ever since, but the markets and the economic numbers, despite a few short lived shocks seem to be heading slowly upwards via some roller coaster volatility and everything looks rosy in the Economic world and defying the nay sayer predictions...but is it. Are we in a 1929 scenario here, but this time only the Central Bankers and those in the markets and the Top 1% are enjoying the party.....the general public this time are out of the picture. OR is it just the problems of 2008 have not been resolved and are now much worse than before leading us into uncharted territory and with bubbles so huge just waiting to go pop in spectacular style but all covered up by creative accounting and numbers. More importantly is this cause for concern for the man in the street, or do we not have to worry about such things and just let the Government and Central Bankers sort this all out, they always do?
This I would say is an extremely important read. Most people at street level don´t really bother themselves with the value of currencies, bonds, stock market indices and other such things in the financial realms. They should! They think it´s all just numbers, it´s dull boring stuff......not my concern. They will probably take notice of interest rates whether they go up or down as that affects savings, mortgages and other debt. They will take notice of new taxes being introduced on XYZ products or the raising or lowering of other taxes especially sales and income tax. They will probably take notice of the price of oil but not it´s raw price quoted on the exchanges but the price at the pumps. They probably don´t take notice of the price of Silver or Gold as an indicator that cash and paper investments are starting to lose confidence and alarm bells are sounding. Wheat, sugar and other basics, they probably don´t follow either on the exchanges, if wheat doubles in price you can bet in the next couple of months the price of Bread will double also, that´s the price that people watch.
The thing is if you do not watch the economic indicators, do not watch the markets, and just watch things at street level like everybody else, when the SHTF with a nations currency, the stock market, the bond markets or the price of oil or wheat or whatever, most people will be caught either with their trousers down or their skirts up in the air and running round like a headless chicken when they are in said SHTF scenario. The trick is to watch the signs, and the signs are looking increasingly ominous.
This article doesn´t aim to educate but just to warn and make aware that certain tell tale signs are flashing red (and they have for sometime) and that you should be prepared for an SHTF eventuality. It is coming, this money printing extravaganza cannot go on forever. These tell tale signs are there to be seen, they were there before 2001 and also in 2008, also in 1929 and other similar times in history. History does repeat itself and people think we have learnt our lesson but history also shows we make the same mistakes and sometimes even worse. The only difference is now we are in an era of manipulation and economic deception. Things are have gone beyond clever now and markets nose dive and mysteriously correct themselves and even overshoot and look better than they were before, clear evidence a market is being propped up to avoid a mass sell off which would be a disaster. The numbers all look glowy and make good reading but the reality on the streets of the US bears no relation to those numbers.
The Reality of the Strength of the US Dollar. FIAT Currency not backed by GOLD since Nixon´s time.
The US Dollar used to be just like other Western Currencies, backed by Gold, what is called Commodity money or you could say REAL. In the US, before Nixon´s time the US Dollar was supported by what was commonly known as the Gold Standard, as in a currency was backed by a physical asset of value namely Gold and those physical reserves were held in Fort Knox. Since this Gold standard was removed at the time of Nixon, the currency has become a FIAT currency which basically means it is not backed by a physical commodity such a Gold but by the Government? and confidence only.

EVERY fiat currency since the Romans first began the practice in the first century has ended in devaluation and eventual collapse, of not only the currency, but of the economy that housed the fiat currency as well.
Rome, France, China and Germany are examples of FIAT currency that went belly up and took a nation with it. More recent examples would be Argentina, Mexico, Zimbabwe and most recently Venezuela.
The reality is the US dollar is in a very fragile predicament and is devaluing as we speak, but the devaluation is hidden, it´s just the other global FIAT currencies are devaluing as well at the same time which creates the illusion that the US Dollar is holding it´s value. It isn´t. The only reason it is, is because it is the Worlds Reserve Currency and nothing more, meaning most of the worlds trade is conducted in that currency. That fate was decided over 70 years ago at the famous Bretton Woods international meeting of World leaders in 1944. The dollars status is also helped by the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank, you´ve guessed it which were also set up at this infamous Bretton Woods convention. Remove that status and nobody really can imagine the outcome.

The Reality of the Strength of other Global Currencies also FIAT and also pegged against the dollar
Other FIAT currencies include The Pound, The Euro and many others. Again these currencies are merely backed by their respective Governments and by confidence only and they are in a similar situation. Remove that confidence and their value will tumble and the currency devalues eventually becoming worthless. What makes matters worse all major world currencies are pegged against the US Dollar, if that collapses it drags every other currency down with it.

This won’t change anytime soon. Something just took place, though, which illustrates that dollar reserve currency status won’t last forever and could be seriously diluted. Last week, seven decades on from Bretton Woods, the governments of Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC´s)led a conference in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza to mark the establishment of a new development bank that, whatever diplomatic niceties are put on it, is intent on competing with the IMF and World Bank.
This is another threat that raises the spectre of a collapse of the US Dollar which is being anticipated by the BRIC´s nations who do not want to go down with it. It is a form of currency confidence erosion and is a warning sign that a currency collapse could be imminent.
The Myth about the Dow Jones and Market Manipulation
The Dow Jones is the headline index around the globe and the one the world watches but this index only features the 30 largest companies so is not really representative of what is going on in the US. The S&P 500 that features 500 companies across a broader spectrum of industries is much more representative of what is happening in the US.
Go back 10 or 20 years in the financial markets and if you look at the charts there were boom cycles and bust cyles throughout history. There were Bull Markets and Bear Markets, these days there are neither. There was panic buying and panic selling and in extreme situations as we have seen in the past there would be big sell offs or corrections. The markets would recover after a period of time but they would never return to the same levels that they were before. These days recessions are averted by just printing more money known as Quantitative Easing but the outcome of that is a devaluation of a nations currency. This is what has been going on in the US for some time now. Europe is doing more of the same.

It´s a well known fact that the US Debt is at horrific levels and is getting worse. The US is printing money like crazy via it´s QE programs but unfortunately that money has to appear somewhere on the nations accounts and it appears as debt. At the time of writing after looking at the debt at the US Debt Clock website it looks like this

Foreign Governments and Investors hold half of the National US Public Debt? What happens if nations like China stop buying US debt and lose confidence in the dollar. You would see the beginnings of a decline in confidence of the US dollar which would lead to the beginnings of a collapse of the US Dollar which would play into the hands of the Chinese who are planning to launch their currency, The Yuan as the New Global Currency. Again another external pressure that indicates that the US dollar is in a very fragile predicament, te rug could be pulled from under it at any time.
When a nations debt gets so large they start to lose control of it and eventually that nation is unable to perform any financial function, they in effect are going bankrupt.
The stark reality of the Fed Interest Rate
The Fed had kept interest rates at a historical low of 0.25% for a record number of years and raised them 0.25% on 16 Dec 2015 on the back of increased confidence in the US economy and the sign of a Recovery??. The reality of the situation is the US is heading to a $20 Trillion debt pile by the end of this year (2016) or early next (2017), that is inevitable. The Fed know they really cannot raise interest rates any further, otherwise that Debt Clock will just speed up even more, so without even borrowing anymore money the US Debt still rises regardless. If they drop the interest rate after raising it in December 2015, this would send shock waves around the world, signalling that trouble is just round the corner. Just staying put on the interest rate isn´t an option either because normally when interest rates are raised (especially from historic lows), it starts the beginning of a trend) they are raised again on the back of a Recovery picking up speed. The fact of the matter is , there is no recovery, there has been no recovery in the US since the crash of 2008. The reality is the Fed needs to head to a Euro style negative interest rate, something never seen in the history of the world. In effect you have to pay the bank to keep your money in their account and it becomes worth less every year.
What´s happening at street level in the US as in the real economy.
The jobless numbers are at all time lows but the reality is those who are working are probably on zero hours contracts, have little job security and many are working part time with the availability of full time jobs proving elusive. Add to the fact many of the young generation are addled with Student Debt of shocking levels with no hope of finding a decent job to pay these loans and end up working at Starbucks or something similar. Coupled with the fact they have very little chance of paying back this debt or even buyin their own home. That means in reality there is not much REAL money sloshing around in the economy which affects spending and the knock on effect that has on industry and services.
The housing market is experiencing a boom but the reality is you try and sell your house at those artificially inflated prices and see what happens. Net result you have to heavily discount the price to sell the house as nobody can afford those inflated prices. I could go on here but at street level, the reality bears no resemblance to the Economic party that is being paraded by Government and Wall Street.
What´s the difference between a Stock market collapse and a Dollar Collapse. A stock market collapse in simple terms is when investors start to lose confidence in the stock market and pull their money out in ever increasing numbers which forces company shares to lose value. It effects companies which ultimately effects jobs and the economy in the longer term. The time frame is measured in months and years for the full impact to hit the streets. It depends on the severity, in extreme cases things can filter through very quickly.
A Dollar Currency Collapse is when the US Dollar (or any other currency) loses it´s value caused by a loss of confidence in that currency. It is not a loss of confidence in a company or companies , this is loss of confidence in a nation and causes that nation to experience inflation then hyper inflation where the currency becomes practically worthless and you have to use rucksacks of money to pay for a McDonalds (if there is one). The collapse of a currency (especially FIAT) could be quick and the impact would also be much quicker than a stock market collapse and much more severe and would have global impact. Think Venezuela in 2016 and you get the idea.
A currency collapse can cause a stock market crash and a stock market crash can cause a currency collapse, but either way, the currency collapse is always more severe and can take much longer to recover from.

Is the market corporate data correct or is it being distorted.
The data and news that is fed to the exchanges and by the government regarding economic data by law has to be correct but many respectable sources are saying that the information and statistics are being massaged and manipulated and that if you go to the companies website and check the latest report, it paints a different picture, a much different picture.
Will Gold and Silver be a safe haven if the US Dollar collapses?

If the Dollar did collapse, it would be slow initially and would then accelerate rapidly. According to the X22 Report in the post collapse scenario
1. Cash would be king until hyper inflation kicks in and that period would last a couple of months. (maybe longer maybe less)
2. Then when cash becomes worthless barter would take over and that would last for a couple of months. (maybe longer maybe less)
3. Finally IF the system did reboot then Gold and Silver would be highly sought after and have a value many times what it does today.
I agree with stages 1 and 2 and possibly 3 but what if the following happened with regard to Gold and Silver in the Great Depression.

If the post collapse scenario did materialise and you invested everything you had in Gold and Silver and a law was introduced outlawing said Gold and Silver. What then, especially if there was martial law.
The effect of the US Election on the Financial Markets.
This is a Christian website so I don´t get involved with Politics BUT what effect would the US election have on the Financial Markets? That is an unknown but what is more worrying is not who will win the election, but the rumours that have been around for some time and new ones surfacing that are plausible.
Here´s what I´ve heard. Before this election campaign even started it was noted from many sources (some respected) that this election would be the last ever US election. More to the point the present US president is the last ever president to be in the Whitehouse. Latest rumours (which are hard to believe) coming from a number of sources state that the election will be suspended or may never even happen due to some unforeseen event. Make of that what you will but that is something to keep an eye out for. Another is the candidate that is currently being endorsed by the current President, I´m hearing will become President no matter what, to continue the current line of policies. The opposition candidate may even step down, for whatever reason, similar situation to the UK Prime Minster elections in the UK. Just bizarre rumours on the grapevine ........... but something to be aware of.
Other Predictions.
There are so many predictions out there about the US Economic collapse with many theories here are some of the following:
1.The prediction that the US could go the same way as Venezuela preceded by riots and a Venezuela style economic collapse and martial law eventually leading the world into an global collapse
2 The rumour that all Western Economies are destroying their economies to precipitate a global collapse, bring in martial law and then a GLOBAL RESET to erase all debt, create one currency, one government, everybody chipped, one police, one army and the rest in readiness for the NWO
3. A prophecy I have seen that is from a religious source states that their is a global financial crisis coming that will be like something never seen before which will lead to global riots and chaos. A world leader will be killed in this chaos and this will spark World War III which will be a nuclear and chemical war which will be a hopeless war of 5 months duration. The UN will not be able to intervene because all UN nations will be involved. No one will win and two thirds of the planet will die.

Is holding Gold or Silver the answer if there is a currency collapse?
If a US Dollar Collapse did happen and it went through the 3 stages, cash, barter then Gold and Silver then yes, Gold and Silver is a good investment. The problem as mentioned before is what if Gold and Silver are outlawed by martial law style police state. The best bet would be to concentrate on the basics, food, water, medical supplies enough to survive a couple of months. Food is cheap, so is water and a medical kit is a one off purchase. That´s something you should have whether you are a Christian Believer or not. None of these things may ever happen, but if they do as mentioned earlier you really don´t want to be the one running round with everybody else and living like it is right now in Venezuela

He´s talking about implying US negative interest rates and anticipating what effect it would have on the banks and we know what happened in Greece they limited cash withdrawals to a certain small amount a day.
I hope I´m wrong about all this, but whether I´m right or wrong or not, when you see many experts saying the same thing there is no harm in being prepared.

Mystery Babylon is mentioned in the Book of Revelation and many people say it´s America, others say it is Rome and I´ve heard elsewhere it´s Saudi Arabia and Mecca which is based on Seven Hills mentioned in Revelation. So is Rome.. The Statue of Liberty is probably the reason for the association. For some reason I don´t think it is, it just doesn´t fit, but the Bible quotes from the Book of Revelation have been included. Either way a US Dollar collapse would cause chaos in the world make no mistake and would be a good reason to bring in martial law on a global scale which would usher in the beginnings of the New World Order. Compulsory chipping or similar would be the final confirmation.
Also the King of the North is mentioned in Daniel 11 and many are saying he is Putin whereas the King of the South is Obama (based on birth). The recent BRIC´s currency move could be interpreted as a move to bring about a US currency collapse. Again debatable.
