The Manic Experimental Period
After a trial blitz of video uploads over a period of a couple of months trying different styles of video, different presentations, me in the video, me not in the video, bible quotes in the video, no bible quotes, uploading morning, afternoon and evening and late at night, shooting videos indoors and outdoors at different exciting locations, buying a new mic to see if that makes any difference, coming up with click bait thumbs with massive text and thumbs with no click bait text, exciting titles, weird titles, seo friendly titles, short titles, long titles, few tags, loads of tags, short description, long description, tlking loudly, talking normal, talking quietly, talking fast, talking slow, .............every variable under the sun has been played with and after doubling the number of videos on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel to 50 and after much thought and staring out of the window and scratching of the head and careful consideration, the following conclusions have been reached.

1. Bible Prophecy is by far the most popular topic on the channel either via me talking or via some sort of onscreen presentation
2. An update frequency of about 5 videos per week Monday to Friday for such a heavy topic as Christianity is probably a bit overkill
3. Prophecy in the News going into some detail on some of the latest headlines is getting some sort of interest.
4. Christian Spirituality is getting limited interest
5. The new eye candy photo slide shows with music track backing and Bible quotes are getting some interest.
6. Preaching of some description is getting some sort of interest but Bible quotes in some shape or form are needed on screen or said in the transcript.
7. Why some videos do better than others even now is a complete and utter mystery that defies logic.
8. It is abundantly clear that what I think is a superb video that will go viral does not equate to that in the real world on You Tube
9. Messing around and having a laugh on a Christian Channel that is focused on the serious topic of End Times and pretending to be Casey Neistat or PewDiePie in the process goes down like a lead balloon, does not impress the punters and they are hitting the unsubscribe button quicker than you can say Adios
10. There is a lot more to learn and certainly a lot more experimenting will be required to see which way and what form The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will take.
11. You Tube is at Saturation point and most popular topics have been covered by hundreds if not thousands of others and you will just get buried. You have to come up with something different or original or a different take on what is proving popular to achieve some form of success.
12. If you haven´t shaved for 3 or 4 days and your hair looks like you have been sleeping rough for two years, I've realised people don´t care, it´s the content that matters although appearance is important for the thumb at least.

These are the often painful conclusions that have been reached after producing loads of content and spending vast amounts of time, shooting, editing and uploading videos with the end result, more subscribers but hardly that many considering the amount of effort involved.

So here's the new revised plan for 2017:
1. Uploads are being reduced to about an average of 2-3 videos per week which reduces the update frequency to normal levels, 5 is getting a bit spammy for a Christian End Times Channel. If it´s quiet it could be one video that week, if it is busy then up to 5 or more. Gives me more time to concentrate on this website and Twitter.
2. Bible Prophecy will feature HOPEFULLY at a target frequency of 2-3 times a month. It´s difficult to produce 3 prophecy videos in a week.
3. Prophecy in the News with me on screen or via an on screen presentation MAY feature initially once or so a week on an experimental basis.
4. I may get a decent add on standalone web cam for my laptop which may be used for news related topics. The one I have got my eye on is not cheap but is highly recommended by top You Tubers. The web cam built into my laptop is pretty basic.
5. Christian Spirituality will still be produced along with preaching around once a week and will contain Bible quotes. Number of views is immaterial, if each video affects one persons life and changes it for the better, then that video has achieved it´s objective.
6. No more messing around producing Blooper videos, this is a serious channel covering serious topics.
7. More experimenting will be taking place behind the scenes trying different forms of content, style, presentation and some obscure topics.
8. The bible quote slide show videos will feature at least 2-3 times a month.
9. Will continue to push for higher video quality and sound quality.
10. Have recently acquired some Professional level video editing software (Free) which I am currently experimenting with and will be used increasingly in the coming months, the learning curve on this beast of a software is steep.
11. Will try to make sure I have shaved and combed my hair at least, before shooting a video!
12. And finally and the most important, find out what people are looking for and want to watch RATHER than what I think people are looking for and want to want to watch. There is a massive difference.



SUMMARY
After a hectic 2 months with visions of The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel going manic and blowing up overnight, the reality has set in that success on You Tube is not an overnight thing and involves a lot of hard work. You've got to be good these days with an element of luck thrown in, just the same as life. The bottom line for The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel though is to produce content that affects peoples lives and raises awareness of the times we are in rather than going down the purely views and subscribers route which in reality for a channel that is Not for Profit and doesn't feature advertising, views and subscribers is more a commercial concern or an ego trip.

To conclude, The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel will have some exciting new developments and continue into 2017, but in a less manic way with a much more slow and steady approach, with increasingly better and ORIGINAL content, searching for that niche that will provide content that people will find interesting to watch and that I enjoy and find interesting to make. And that in my opinion is a large chunk of what You Tube is all about.

The Twelve Gates Channel News and Latest Update



A lot of changes on the way for this channel, some could prove a disaster, some could propel it into the stratosphere, but if things just stay as they are, things will just keep going sideways, not my kind of situation. The channel as regulars have probably gathered is moving away from the eye candy and funky music backed style videos with non original content and onto a more basic style delivery but ORIGINAL content featuring myself which is what the whole original You Tube platform was designed for. Things are picking up speed in the End Times News arena and I can´t be spending hours or days editing videos, reaction times to events need to be quicker in these Last Days hence these major changes.

The Channel Experiments

Ten things that will be happening on the channel in the coming months, some are permanent, others are experimental and maybe adopted and maybe not, other new things will appear, but the channel is still in the experimental phase and still finding it´s direction. Currently at just over 200 subscribers and just going sideways it has been decided to give the channel a jolt and kick up the rear quarter to get it heading in the upwards direction. This will be going on till Christmas. If it works then it will be continued in the new year, if it doesn´t, then it will be back to updates once a week or so. As you´ve probably gathered I´m not happy with just 200 subscribers and really looking for 4 figures, not as an ego hey look at me sort of thing, but with less than that you really are just talking to yourself and with all the work involved you really do need a respectable size audience to make the effort worthwhile. Guaranteed AD FREE regardless of how many subscribers and views a video gets.

Ten things on the horizon starting from 15 November 2016

1. Change in Frequency of updates. Things are speeding up in prophetic terms and time is getting short and many definite prophetic signs confirm this. The target is at least 50 quality videos by the end of 2016. Currently it stands at 25 or so updates and will be shifting from once a week to a minimum of 3 times a week but more likely 4-5 times a week and updates will be Monday to Friday. No updates on the weekend unless there has been something exceptional in news terms.

2. Change in type of content. End Times News Flashes like Paul Begely featuring myself giving commentary and views. Bible Prophecy seems popular so will be focusing more on that as well and how it relates to current events around the world. The Exposed series is also popular so will be doing more of that, one of my favourite topics, I´m particularly not keen on false prophets, false preachers and fake Christians and can get quite vicious on the matter. These people are not in the faith and do not deserve to be approached as mentioned in the Bible on a one on one basis. That is reserved for true Christians who may be going astray and not these wolves in sheep´s clothing types that are causing all sorts of problems and destroying the faith from the inside! Christian Spirituality will also feature, it´s not so popular at present, but is a slow burner and will continue as this is primarily a Christian Channel and is ultra important. Either way, no more eye candy, except via the upcoming newly produced trailers.

3. Channel no longer shows number of subscribers. This is just a vanity thing and I notice a lot of real deal Christians do not have this activated so mine has been de-activated as well. Further details on that in the video.

4. Style of delivery. This is a sombre topic and requires a sombre delivery but there will be micro bursts of dry humour on occasion. . If you're looking for uplifting soft and fluffy sugar coated candy floss dreams and visions style Christianity you are in the wrong place. I don't wear crosses, wear shades when filming, or make up, or wear T Shirts with Bible verses or slogans. If you are looking for the real deal on the front line Joshua in your face style delivery that is prepared to give you some time and eye contact, this is it. If you want the truth then you are definitely in the right place.

5. Comments and Up votes and Down Votes. Leave a comment I will try to reply ASAP. Leave an up vote I will try and return the favour if I can identify who actually left the up vote. Down Votes are just as important as they give an indication of what people are actually looking for and what quality they are expecting.

6. I'm not a teenager which seems to be the predominant user on You Tube apparently in the 16-19 bracket. I have some grey hair, bags under my eyes, no hair dye, no cosmetic surgery, a chipped front tooth, no botox, no make up. If that's a problem........ my answer is simply Unsubscribe. There will be no silly antics but there could be some bloopers and believe me there are plenty of those.. The last video didn't even shave, had a rough nights sleep of about 1 hour with hair sticking up just for a laugh. Most popular vid so far in views per first day terms. Just proves that theory wrong but an effort will be made to look sort of presentable instead of somebody that looks like they have been dragged through a hedge backwards.

7. Vlogs and News and Prophecy is the way forward. Everything will appear on You Tube first, then social media then via a blog post at The Twelve Gates.org official website with the video embedded in the post. In effect the videos will be tweeted twice, once raw and once embedded in a blog post. Twitter will still be the dominant news source, but if you are looking for the original content and maybe an hour or two earlier and want to be ahead of the information curve, subscribe to this channel and be in the know!

8. Video Quality and locations
Will be shooting in various locations around London and Hertfordshire both indoors and outdoors. New mic has made a huge difference can now shoot anywhere. Striving to keep video quality and sound and content high. Will be experimenting with different video formats and styles and also lighting. No plans at present to go beyond using the mobile which does HD at 1080p. I upload at 720p which is more than enough for this sort of thing.

9. A shout out to the following vloggers for their light bulb moment help in hopefully transforming this channel. Don´t exactly come across as Christian Channels or even Christians, maybe they are but either way listening to them as been a light bulb moment.

Brittney Lee Saunders Beauty VLogger. I though what I was doing was hard, she spends about 5 times longer doing her videos hence the well earned success.

Casey Neistat Beyond description Vlogger which is about as far removed from Christianity that you can get but learnt a lot from this guy.

10. This is primarily a Christian Channel but it's aimed at Christians and Non Believers alike. In fact I operate with the view that the healthy do not need to see a doctor but the sick do. Jesus said that once, that's why he spent more time with sinners and the needy that needed help rather than those that did not. This is not a Christian social club, it's not even a ministry really, but Brothers and Sisters in the faith are welcome and are also welcome to pull me up if my preaching is not on the mark, but my target audience is non believers and those that need some help or guidance. My attitude is... you come to me, I do not come to you!

The latest news on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel, the latest developments, what is going on behind the scenes and future plans. Been doing a lot of looking around at other channels, not only the incredibly successful ones, but the ones that just are not cracking it whatsoever. At present The Twelve Gates You Tube channel is neither incredibly successful but neither is it in the "just not cracking it whatsoever" category either. It´s not struggling, but sort of creeping relentlessly slowly forward and looks to be showing no signs of speeding up any time in the near future, not with the current content and update frequency. Which has got me thinking?

This announcement is being put out as over the next couple of weeks I will be spending considerably more time over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel with the target to have 50 quality videos on The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel by the end 2016. That´s if we are are still here? This means I will be spending less time over at this website and the associated Twitter @ThatFJ. These two just seem to be snowballing on their own these days, so a slow down in pace will not adversely affect them much in any way. Just don´t have much free time these days, so something has to give somewhere. There should be the same number of blog post updates per week (currently 3) but they may be slightly more erratic on days released and the posts will be shorter than usual. Any major headlines appearing will still be at Twitter but some videos maybe appearing to replace the current tweets coming from outside sources.

Have been watching a lot of How To videos on how to take your You Tube channel to the next level. Recommended is a channel called Video Creators  . Learnt a lot from this Tim Schmoyer guy and even he admits the early days of his channel were slow, crawling on all fours and there was not much enthusiasm for the videos he was producing. Some people even report posting videos and after two weeks they have ZERO views. At least The Twelve Gates channel is not in that category. This is where a lot of people just give up, thankfully I´m not one of those types..... but sometimes it is tempting.

Over the next couple of weeks quite a few new videos are planned to be published trying out different ideas and formats. Those that prove popular and more importantly get some sort of community involvement will be adopted on a permanent basis. Other videos that are flagging and look like they are non starters will be scrapped, deleted or maybe released and given a makeover, and other new ideas and formats will be tried. You Tube is all about views and subscribers but if they are not involved with your channel and leaving comments and actively engaging with your content, then the numbers are just a pointless ego trip and nothing more.

Here´s my analysis of The Twelve Gates Video Channel which is coming up to 10 months old from the release of the first video.

The first video went out on this channel on early February and the channel has moved through the following formats

Prophetic News Watch: Jason A style videos featuring a compilation of end times news headlines from the past month with no soundtrack as a backing, just news. Some interest, but nothing to get excited about. A lot of work to produce for just a couple of hundred views in a month or so. These were scrapped

End Times Topic Music Videos: these were based on something like the Last Messages channel at You Tube but focused on one topic such as Hail, Tsunamis, Fireballs, Earthquakes, Strange Skies, RFID etc. All were backed by a thumping in your face soundtrack and predictably these proved successful and one in particular is still getting interest now 6 months later. The problem with these videos was yes they were successful but this is primarily a Christian website and Christian You Tube channel and the crowd it was attracting was the "extreme weather porn" brigade instead of people more interested in End Times and it´s Biblical connections. So these were stopped. Wasn´t getting that many subscribers from these videos either.

End Times Photo Slide Shows and News Mix: a mixture of End Times photos and screen grabs of End Times News Headlines topic focused with some live news as an intro and a soundtrack backing later in the video. Some were successful most were flops. These were scrapped.

NEW: The Video Commentary Series. Complete change of focus, away from using other peoples content to create a mash up of videos with the associated copyright claim issues, and instead focusing on producing original content with a Christian bias covering all sorts of topics including Prophecy, End Times News Commentary, Christianity and Spirituality and other topics to do with the Book of Revelation. Featuring myself talking for 10-15 minutes giving my views and thoughts. RESULT: some videos are doing well, others are slow, some complete flops but the subscriber count has doubled in about a month or so and videos even with low view counts seem to be getting more comments, interest and interaction from other Christians in particular. This strongly suggests that this is one direction The Twelve Gates Channel should go. You Tube is not just about videos it´s about interaction as well. If you are getting no interaction, you are missing the point of what the platform is all about. I love producing these videos and they are more fun than producing video mash ups which granted are amazing when finished but the work to view/subscriber ratio for this channel was just not working out.

Other Video styles and Formats:
Other videos styles are being looked into such as End Times News Analysis similar to the Blog posts but instead live on video, a bit like Paul Begley (Are you serious) on You Tube.He seems to do well out if it and seems to have a good time doing it as well. Other videos that are flagging and look like they are non starters will be scrapped, deleted and other new ideas and formats will be tried.  Also maybe Bible Prophecy study and analysis and other forms of video style are being looked into. The Screen Recording style videos seem to do well as well for some reason and this is also being looked into.

Equipment.

You may notice on the last two videos that were shot outside in Holland Park in West London (sample of one below) the sound quality has increased dramatically as I have recently purchased an external microphone that plugs into my mobile and the difference is staggering. Have tried it on a windy day and it cuts out all the annoying wind noises that can ruin a video. Have also invested in some lighting (further details below). I am looking at possibly getting a DSLR with an external microphone in the future (have a tripod already) but need to see an increase in numbers before that is considered. In the meantime I currently shoot with my mobile that has 1080P which I downsize to 720P which is good enough for most situations and cuts down the file sizes.

Locations:

I like shooting outdoors but the problem was you are tied to the weather with the wind being your sound enemy. This problem has been removed with the new external microphone which means you can record anywhere, at anytime (unless it´s really windy) even in busy noisy streets. Should make for some interesting videos in the future, which I will be experimenting with for sure!

Have invested in some form of lighting (boot sale job for 1 pound) which will be used for more studio style videos indoors ,when it´s raining outside or trees are being uprooted by hurricane force winds outside.

Quality:
The last few videos produced have been of variable quality regarding sound and lighting and these are my first attempts at doing such videos, but they are improving, all of them are unscripted bar a couple of the longer ones where I used subject headings and pointers to keep things flowing. The aim is to produce high quality videos in visual terms and in sound terms that are not far short of something shot with professional equipment, it can be done with a mobile, it just takes a bit of practice.

New Intro

A new The Twelve Gates Video professional style intro has been trialled on one video which I call "the falling dominoes intro" and will probably be appearing on all future videos wit the new tag line "leading you to the truth"

Cards:
The latest two videos uploaded feature a New You Tube feature called "End Cards" which gives a link to The Twelve Gates website and a subscribe link plus one or two related videos at the last twenty seconds of the video.

Summary.

That´s the latest developments over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel which I plan to be developing in a big way over the coming couple of months until the end of 2016. Target is 50 out of this world videos (currently the channel has just over 20) and something to rival the The Twelve Gates Twitter and The Twelve Gates website. There will be a lot of ruthless chopping and changing of videos around and much experimenting. From experience if a video is not cracking it in the first 24 hours, chances are it will have severely reduced chances of cracking it in the future, but some videos have proved that theory wrong, but not many.

The main problem for the You Tube Channel is the Twitter which is successful and there is not much incentive to go over to subscribe at You Tube at present if the updates appear over at Twitter. With the You Tube Channel becoming more community and socially focused however, there is a "missing the boat" incentive to subscribe to that channel as well, something you will miss if you are just over at Twitter. Just depends what you are looking for, social interaction or just something to tell you when the next update is. Exciting times ahead over at The Twelve Gates You Tube (assuming no World war 3)....

The Twelve Gates Website
There seems to be a surge in interest in The Twelve Gates website over the last month or two. Updates are currently 3 times a week and the posts are moving away from Extreme Weather and Natural Disasters and becoming more focused on End Times, Society and Spirituality and Book of Revelation Prophecy coming to fruition in our modern age. Even started covering controversial topics such as Christian Prepping and False Mega Preachers which is proving particularly popular. . The Twitter for The Twelve Gates is the best bet for an up to date look at what is going on in the world in Extreme Weather and Natural Disaster terms including News, Photos and Videos.

Some shorter posts may start creeping into the mix that will be more news related covering topics that are not so research intensive (some posts take days of research) , something that is being looked into which will add another dimension to the website.

Blog updates are either Tues, Wed, Thursday or Wed, Thurs, Friday depending on how much research is involved over the weekend hence why there are no blog posts or limited Twitter updates on the weekend.

The Twelve Gates You Tube
Big changes on here as well with a move away from Extreme Weather and Natural disasters and focusing more on other topics with an End Times bias. There are so many channels out there now doing End Times material, I decided not to be one of many but go in a completely new pioneering direction with videos featuring a personal appearance from myself getting up close and personal.

The new video series are called "Commentary" and are in a Vlog and RAW format but in HD. Just 2 at present, but more are on their way. They feature myself either expressing views or giving out some information on the hot topics of the moment either in the news or on the Web or on The Twelve Gates website. All recorded on my mobile. May also feature me having a rant, or getting out something that is on my mind that people may need to be aware of. These videos are much easier to make, seem to generate more interest with regards to interaction and comment. These videos are embedded into relevant blog posts on The Twelve Gates website to give it an extra dimension. Latest video link here talking about The Rapture.

It's original content and doesn't involve hours of post production work, just record, upload the video and You Tube processes it and does the rest. No issues with copyright, so I think this is the way forward. Currently updating about once a week, if they are popular they could be 2 or 3 times a week, because they are easy to produce. Looking at recording at other locations and also looking at other formats or styles of video in the future such as video slideshow with some commentary from myself in the background covering current hot end Times topics. Documentary style videos is another option.

The videos are currently being recorded down the basement at work, it's fairly quiet, with reasonable lighting and private. The backdrop is not great but is being looked into. These videos are currently being released on or near Tuesday but will try to be at least weekly.

At present I'm not responding to comments over at You Tube but that is something that is being looked into in the near future because not only is it a video platform, it's a social network as well.

The Twelve Gates Twitter.
Most of the tweets at The Twelve Gates Twitter are either updates from the You Tube channel or the latest blog posts from the website and End Times videos from You Tube or news links. May add some more personal but End Times related tweets. May also be a bit more interactive which will add another dimension to the Twitter experience instead of just one way communication. Update times are currently as follows:

Video sources that appear on Twitter have been changed recently avoiding the bigger names in favour of the lesser known but equally good or better smaller channels. They will still be used on occasion if there is something important you need to know about.

There are no plans to join Facebook now or in the future. Just doesn't float my boat. Not keen on their policies regarding media and not keen on the interface either, so I will be sticking with You Tube, Twitter and Google Plus. I think that's more than enough.

The latest news from The Twelve Gates website and associated websites for June 2016. What has been happening behind the scenes, what changes have taken place and what is in the pipeline and other general news to do with the Twelve Gates.

Was on holiday last week. Desperately needed a break from the End Times game, it can get a bit depressing at times. Did some much needed work on The Twelve Gates website that never seems to get done, and some changes have been made as listed below and on the other associated websites.

Website News

The Twelve Gates website has gone through a number of experimental design changes from the initial simple single page Blog Layout onto the more recent two column designs and now the recent incarnation which is a Newspaper|Magazine style theme. I think this is design No 5. This one seems to be getting the thumbs up from all quarters including myself, visitors and Google.. It looks good, loads fast, is easy to find your way around, has loads of menus. In short it's a slick little number. I think we'll stick with this one. The website also has been tested on mobiles and tablets and looks good there as well.

Onto the content. The style of the website is changing to end times news commentary and opinion and Christianity and spirituality, rather than just fact. The most popular post by far on this website is "The Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross" eclipsing all the extreme weather and natural disaster articles which you think would be the most popular. The subject matter covered will be going a bit broader beyond The End Times, but will still have End times as it's main theme.

Each topic category now has it's own RSS feed and the sites feed also now has it's own Icon amongst the social media icons on the top right on the main page as well as in the footer. 2 sets of Daily Bible quotes are featured on the main page from different sources. The photo based one was scrapped as it was taking too long to load and slowing the site down.

Posts and Updates will now be AT LEAST two a week and I'm looking to make it about 4 or a week. Posts will now feature added embedded videos from various sources to add a bit of eye candy and a multimedia angle to each article instead of just boring video links.

The Book of Revelation Chapters 1 to 22 with a brief description of what that chapter is all about has been added over last week. Pictures and videos may be added in the future to each chapter to expand the information further. Very important Book of the Bible this one, it's the very backbone of what this website is all about and how it got it's name and what started it. Links may also appear within the text of each chapter leading you to articles on the website that further expand and explain that word, phrase or parable.

Comments are now accepted on the website and are checked pretty much Daily during the week. Most of the current comments are basically Spam but have been included as they are 'nice spam', if there is such a thing. Anything you agree or disagree with on this website or anywhere else, get it off your chest and make it known. It's nice to hear my views, but it's nice to hear other peoples as well.

Topics Now clearly labelled on this website and having their own category on the main menu including Extreme Weather, Natural Disasters, Tech, The Cosmos, Unexplained, Book of Revelations, Society and more.

News Most of the articles at The Twelve Gates are commentary on news but it may feature some actual news articles as well in the future. Something that is being looked into.

Twitter

Minor or major change over at Twitter ThatFJ which used to be my personal account with my photo and my name has now been changed to The Twelve Gates as the name, my photo has been replaced with The Twelve Gates logo. The Twitter user name ThatFJ obviously remains unchanged. The content and everything including the owner else remains unchanged

Business as usual with tweets between 3 or 4 when it's quiet and 10 or 12 when it's busy. Normal times are early am, late am, some early pm and the last update about 9pm ish. Found some edgier sources of End Times info that have started to creep into the Twitter feed so it's now a good mixture of mainstream and alternative news, opinion and commentary, extreme weather and natural disasters, the strange weird and unexplained and more focus on the worrying changes in our modern day society.

Google Plus

Has been out there for just over a month now and the last time I looked it had 127 followers and rising slowly. This social media channel tackles some more controversial End Times material stuff that provokes discussion and commentary. Major headings over there include End Times News, End Times Articles, End Times Video and Spirituality. Blog posts from the Twelve Gates feature over there as well. I personally prefer this Google Plus to Facebook which I'm not a fan of but the downside it doesn't have as many people using it as the social media giant Facebook as it is still fairly new. Updates are once a day 3 or 4 times a week, may go daily if it gets more followers.

You Tube

Currently 11 videos over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel. This channel is still in it's experimental phase. Some videos are proving hugely popular for such a new channel whilst others are just getting 100 or so views. Still looking at different types of video format going ahead with the emphasis on more original content and video footage. BUT will still feature the video compilation/mash up format with thumping soundtrack as some are proving popular. They will still be produced. Recently got a microphone from the Boot Sale for next to nothing and will be playing around with this for video purposes. As they say watch this space?

Tumblr

Currently just a duplicate of what is over at The Twelve Gates You Tube Channel but featuring videos in a Blog format. Again looking at ways of making this Tumblr to feature content independent of the You Tube channel Again watch for further news.

Newsletter. Currently just an experiment to see if anybody is interested. The big websites seem to do this but it only works when you have masses of visitors coming to the site which this site doesn't have yet.

Email Subscription. If you are not getting updates via RSS and Twitter and prefer Email this is currently being looked into and a link or similar may appear for people who want to get the latest updates via this method.

A quick latest news update for The Twelve Gates for May 2016 covering the Website, Twitter and You Tube and other new associated websites.

The Website: All change at The Twelve Gates Website. Now has a new look with a different navigation and more items in the right sidebar that lead you to different places on the website or to the other Twelve Gates Websites over at Wordpress or Tumblr.  The old design was not going down well with Google at all but this new one seems to be getting the thumbs up from the Google Bots.

All the personal stuff now has links at the bottom of the website along with contact details. This new design is currently just in a basic text format, but under the hood has the potential and options contained within it to totally transform the look and feel of The Twelve Gates website, which will make it more visually attractive, even easier to get around for new and existing website visitors. This is still being played around with at present. The website may just stay as it is mainly text, or it maybe the new turbocharged in your face format may be adopted. The new design is fully tablet and mobile friendly and compatible.

Post count is being increased from 1 a week to 2 a week (excluding after bank holidays). Articles come out Thursday or Friday. Looking at a possible doubling again in the months ahead if there is increased interest with some added news, items produced here as opposed to via external sources!

Social Media share buttons are now located at the bottom of each place if you wish to share the Article on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Reddit etc. Also  5 related posts appear at the bottom of each article as well either random or random and related for further reading.

YouTube:

Changes over at the Twelve Gates YouTube Channel. The focus from now on will be more on topic related videos that run as backups to the main Blog article over at The Twelve Gates website. These topic focused videos are getting many times more views than the monthly news vids. Not sure whether it is the videos and topics themselves or the music, maybe both. Either way some videos are getting a couple of thousand views in a short period of time (many more than the monthly news vids) without any promotion on my part or via You Tube, which for a new channel is not bad at all.

Therefore it has been decided to drop the Monthly Prophetic News Watch. A couple of hundred views over a number of weeks for these videos means a thumbs down, hence why there has been no May 2016 Prophetic News Watch. Still looking at doing some different formats for videos maybe some commentary on the latest news, or maybe Prophetic News on a Weekly basis as most of the competition out there seem to do. Watch for further news and developments on that.

Updates at You Tube come out late on Friday or early on Saturday.

Twitter:

The Twelve Gates Twitter is now moving pretty much away from the mainstream media and featuring more alternative news (as basically that's what The Twelve Gates website is) from respected sources, but the mainstream media still features as and when, just less so than in the past. A lot of the subject matter that this website is interested in, doesn't even register at times with the mainstream media, but is incredibly interesting none the less and is fact not fiction. Quantity of Tweets remain the same a dozen or so maybe more when busy, 3 or 4 when it's quiet and any number in between.

Tumblr and Wordpress are still in their formative stages. Have also recently registered at Pinterest. Again this is another social media account that is in it's formative stages of development.Still deciding what to do with it?

The latest news from The Twelve Gates concerning the website, YouTube Channel and Twitter and any other new or exciting upcoming developments.

The Website.

Blog posts are currently just once a week featuring an in depth article covering a particular topic that is End Times or Biblical Prophecy in nature even if the subject matter on first appearance has no link with Biblical Prophecy or End Times whatsoever. The blog posts have started to feature compilation videos from the NEW The Twelve Gates You Tube channel as supporting information in video form. Not all posts will feature this but increasingly blog posts will feature an additional video from our Channel. The video normally comes out a couple of days after the blog post. Looking to increase the blog post count to at least 2 a week at some stage. New side panel added today Photo and Bible Quote of the day, totally automated. Worth coming back every day to see the latest.

The Twelve Gates You Tube channel has been officially live from 31 January 2016 and currently has 7 videos and the channel is now in a new format and now has been redesigned to feature discussion tabs, playlists and also a new The Twelve Gates Channel Trailer just a couple of days ago,

The latest news on The Twelve Gates Video Channel February 2016.

The first video for this channel was uploaded on Sunday 31 January and features 15 minutes worth of video news that I think are Prophetic in nature. If you check The Twelve Gates Twitter Page and look at the month of January, there was stacks of things going on but this first video highlights the most important headlines. Video link below.

Prophetic News Watch January 2016 Video

Zika, The Financial Markets, Biblical Style Storms around the world, multiple tornado touchdowns in a small area at the same time, and increasing Australian Bush Fires. All these things are classed as " not the norm" and have a Biblical ring to them.

Updates on this channel will be a minimum of monthly featuring a video news summary of the last month. If there is interest beyond 10 views in 24 hours then videos may be weekly as well as a monthly summary. It's a new channel and just like Twitter it's going to take a while to build up a following

Any FAQ's on this channel head over to the You Tube Channel launch news article posted November 2016.

The video uploaded will be the initial format something along the lines of the Jason A You Tube Channel. There maybe some other formats where yours truly will appear (in voice form) commenting on a significant event that has materialised. Something along the lines of the Spiro You Tube Channel that has featured on the Twitter Feed. Both these video channels videos will still appear at The Twelve Gates Twitter unless the featured content duplicates what has appeared on a Twelve Gates Vid.

Videos will intentionally be advert free BUT because of the nature of You Tube some featured content may have to have an advert in place. I don't make any money on those adverts in case you're wondering.

Currently working on a logo for The Twelve Gates website and You Tube Channel. The current keyhole logo (naff I know) is just a temporary state of affairs and will be replaced in the near future. It was done to get the channel off the dreaded egg status.

The video update link will appear on the Twitter updates page but Subscribing to the channel is probably the best bet as you will be on the inside track and get extra features. Further news on that in the future!
