This is one of those open ended articles that requires an open mind and doesn't really come to any conclusions, but it is an interesting read none the less. It's the sort of article that raises more questions than it answers.
Phil Plait at the New Scientist had this to say about Conspiracy Theories:
I’ve spent a lot of time debunking silly conspiracy claims in my time. NASA faked the Moon landings , the Mayan calendar predicted the End of the World in 2012 , a mysterious planet named Nibiru would wipe out life on Earth in 2003, the government created fake snow in Atlanta that wouldn’t melt and scorched when burned… I’ve even debunked government officials who claim that other government officials are covering up conspiracy theories?
There is plenty of aerial footage available with planes flying overhead producing what look like vapour trails in the sky, this is something that occurs naturally when aircraft fly at higher altitudes and are known as Contrails. But more recent footage from a number of sources shows a definite appearance that something is being sprayed overhead via aircraft, some even showing photos of the possible chemical containers inside the aircraft? The footage seen would produce trails that did not evaporate but seemed to expand into huge diffuse clouds that would cover fast swaths of the sky.
This article aims to delve deeper into this bizarre world to see what is going on in our sky, is it something to be concerned about and the various reasons this phenomenon is being seen in the sky around the globe. In short is SOMETHING GOING ON or is it business as usual?
Chemtrail Definition
To get to the bottom of the Chemtrail Mystery, the best place to start is at the beginning and find out what the definition of a Chemtrail actually is.

What does Wikipedia have to say about the Chemtrail Conspiracy Theory?
The chemtrail conspiracy theory is the unproven belief that long-lasting trails, so-called "chemtrails", are left in the sky by high-flying aircraft and that they consist of chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed for sinister purposes undisclosed to the general public. Believers in the theory argue that normal contrails dissipate relatively quickly and that contrails that do not dissipate must contain additional substances.
Chemtrails is a word that is a combination of Chemical and Trail and Contrail is a combination of the words Condensation and Trail. Contrails are the cloud like trails you see left in the sky that disappear minutes but sometimes hours later left by aircraft when flying in certain atmospheric conditions. Chemtrails according to Conspiracy Theorists leave a trail that is similar in appearance but the trails remain in the sky for much longer periods of time which Conspiracy Theorists state means that these trails must contain additional substances to maintain the presence of the trail for such long periods of time.
Some of the reasons cited for this uptick in strange aircraft spraying overhead behaviour is as follows:
1. Solar radiation management
2. Psychological manipulation
3. Human Population Control
4. Weather modification
5. Biological or Chemical Warfare
6. Wind Pattern Analysis
7. The big Nibiru/Planet X/Planet 9 Cover Up/
Some say these trails are causing respiratory illnesses and other health problems again something that is difficult to prove without going into scientific analysis.
The roots of the Chemtrail Theory started way back in the 1990's when cloud seeding and weather pattern manipulation came under the spotlight.
Chemtrail believers claim that their evidence forms the basis for a global conspiracy and some of the goals mentioned include
1. Profit and Greed. Creating the ability to manipulate commodity prices or by creating mysterious illnesses to help drug companies who would have the cure.
2. Population control
3. Weapons testing either by using the weather itself as a weapon, or as a vehicle for testing biological warfare weapons.
4. Clouds are being seeded with electrically conductive materials as part of a massive electromagnetic Hi Tech weapons program based around the HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program).

Government Research on Chemtrails
According to New Scientist the Govt surveyed hundreds of experts in contrails as well as those who study atmospheric deposition (how various chemicals fall to the ground from the air), presenting them with the evidence provided on various chemtrail websites, asking them to take a closer look.
Out of the 77 scientists who reported back, 98.7 per cent (76 out of 77) of the scientists said they had encountered no evidence of a secret large-scale atmospheric programme (SLAP). Everything mentioned on the conspiracy websites was just the natural result of planes flying around doing what they do in the air, without any mysterious government interference. The results though are hardly surprising ,they are hardly going to throw their arms up in the air and say the Govt has been spraying toxic chemicals from aircraft for years and "yes you are right" are they?
The one participant who answered yes said the evidence they had come across was “high levels of atmospheric barium in a remote area with standard ‘low’ soil barium”.
Chemtrails and the Bible?
Are Chemtrails remotely mentioned in the Bible in any shape or form? With such a modern form of transmission of chemicals, if the Conspiracy Theory is to be believed, the chances of this being mentioned in the Bible will be remote at best and probably relatively zero.
BUT if you take the word Chemtrail and use it's derivative Chemical and take a look in Revelation in the New Testament and also in the Old Testament the Bible does provide some answers but not directly. You have to dig around a bit and use Strongs Concordance to dig a little deeper.
A website called Global Sky Watch has an interesting theory based on Revelation.
If we take a look at Revelation 18:23 it mentions the word "sorcery" which hardly equates to Chemtrails, but on closer inspection and a lot of digging around, something is revealed when you take the original Greek word and meaning from the Strongs Concordance. This is not the approach I recommend to reading the Bible as you can come up with all sorts of answers which are not what the Bible was originally trying to say but it is interesting none the less.

The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

This verse relates to Mystery Babylon. The word "sorcery" in this passage is derived from the original Greek word "pharmakeia" based on Strongs Concordance No 5331 (far-am-I'-ah). This is the source of the English word "pharmaceutical". The true meaning of the word "pharmakeia is "to drug or poison". So is this verse pointing to a deception by drugging or poisoning in a future time by a Mystery Babylon mentioned in Revelation 18?

With the headlines recently pointing to rumors of possible mass vaccinations especially in the US, Europe and Australia could this revelation prophecy point towards some form of mass slow poisoning which could embrace drugs, Chemtrails or some form of enforced mass vaccination, or maybe all of them? Or could it be more in relation to a Spiritual poisoning in the form of idolatry worship? Personally I'm not reading too much into this one and you have to be careful when using Strongs as it can be used to twist the Bible, but it's something to take on board none the less as a rank outsider possibility.
Summary
All the above are merely theories (not mine) and the prophecy stated in Revelation 18:23 could be stating something completely different and more concerned with idolatry rather than chemicals, drugs or pharmaceuticals, but it does get the grey matter going and make you wonder whether the conspiracy theory of Chemtrails may not be Conspiracy Theory after all?
So are Chemtrails just some silly conspiracy theory or are we secretly witnessing some form of sinister Bible Prophecy unfolding before our very eyes? My view is always don't discount anything until it is proven otherwise, but if you take a look at the world and times we live in today, it would not surprise me in the slightest that this sort of thing is going on....not at all and would certainly fit in with an Orwellian New World Order plan and the Beast System mentioned in Revelation 13.
