This article is probably more for non believers than believers. If you are a believer and believe in the Pre Tribulation Rapture then this is probably something that is not of concern. If you are Mid or Post Tribulation like myself and think you will be going though this Tribulation like everybody else....probably best to read on.

Behind the scenes here at The Twelve Gates Twitter, Google Plus and You Tube and of course this website things are being updated with the latest Biblical Prophecy in the news and some of the headlines recently seem to be intensifying as we appear to be getting closer to something that is about to happen and the temperature is rising, you can feel it.
One person cannot be right all the time?
As I mentioned in a previous article, 20 pairs of eyes are better than one pair, and 17K eyes are better than 20. Here´s an example of some activity from my Twitter Activity page this morning that demonstrates that fact. I put a tweet out about the recent Charlotte headline and it turned out it was a video clip shot in London shot possibly during the London Riots in 2011 (Red Boris Bus in the background). DISASTER.These people below noticed and that´s good as I was half asleep this morning after a rough nights sleep. Needless to say I deleted it, otherwise you look like an idiot!

The Twelve Gates Twitter Back End behind the scenes after an incorrect tweet[/caption]Thinking about this, it has dawned on me the responsibility you have when blasting out such dramatic headlines especially when you have more than a few followers. To be honest not much thought has been given to the effect all this news has on peoples mental state and their lives. Personally I´m not afraid of these headlines and think that most other people will be the same. It´s becoming increasingly apparent though that this website amongst many others of a similar nature, are now being followed very closely and not just by Christians. Certain news headlines are starting to impact peoples lives in a dramatic way, and some of these headlines, to put it mildly are mentally disturbing in nature. Another reason I don´t tweet much on the weekend, I need a couple of days break otherwise it´s just too depressing, that´s how I cope with it at this end.
Just looking at the recent Charlotte headlines declaring a state of emergency, never ending floods, recent New York and New Jersey bombings, ramping tensions in Syria, nuclear missile test launches to name just a few, it´s easy to see these headlines on your feed, whack a retweet button and think job done, without realising the emotional and mental impact that this news has on peoples lives who are following and reading this stuff.
A recent example
A recent case in point is a tweet I put out over last weekend, about an impending asteroid strike sometime between 23 September and 27 September. I took it with a pinch of salt as these are seen all the time. This planet has a staggering amount of near misses with asteroids and other objects on a monthly basis when you follow such things.
This one seemed a bit different though, so it was Tweeted with the line "Something to be aware of". If I didn´t put this Tweet out and it struck, doesn´t look good on The Twelve Gates...does it? This is a predicament faced with every Tweet where the news source is dubious in nature, everything is taken on board but only if it fits Prophecy, something that is not always easy to ascertain. Just because something like this is not confirmed by NASA doesn´t mean it isn´t out there. Think about it, would NASA actually say that "A mile long asteroid is hitting earth in X days"............I think not........there would be mass panic and hysteria.
Here´s somebody I don´t follow on You Tube, but bump into him from time to time, who has a few words on this possible Asteroid strike. He´s pretty much like myself, probably laughed at the statement but then takes things on board and investigates further before releasing such a potentially ridiculous statement. This guy took the words right out of my mouth and I share his views. Looks to be a Christian. What his reputation is I have no idea?

Asteroid Strike. How would you mentally cope?
Let´s look at this scenario, a sort of walk through, one of many disaster scenarios and see what options you have, if any?
Stage 1: Just say you see a Tweet on a possible Asteroid strike in a weeks time and it also appears on websites and say You Tube.
Stage 2: How do you react? Do you keep the information to yourself? Do you alert and tell others? Do you dismiss it as just another hoax and carry on as normal? Do you start to make plans to evacuate? Where do you go? Should you seek high ground or should you go underground? Link to "Is it worth prepping for Biblical disasters"
Stage 3: Maybe you have prepared for such an event? Realistically what are your chances of surviving say a mile wide asteroid hitting earth. If it hits the sea, massive tsunamis worldwide would be the result, something of the magnitude of 1000ft or more high, GLOBALLY!. High ground above that elevation would be a safe bet, but still no guarantee of survival. BUT what happens if it hits land...what then? The impact would be catastrophic and would cause a dust cloud so severe it would block out the sun for years turning Earth into a barren wasteland like the moon where nothing could survive. It would cause an an earthquake so unthinkable that not much would survive that either. The last big asteroid that hit, many scientists say caused the last Ice Age. The question is would you want to survive?
When you go through these three stages you realise unless you have some sort of underground facility with about at least 50ft or much more of solid concrete above you and years of food and water, or some sort of divine intervention like Moses had in the Bible, the chances of survival are going to be minimal at best. That doesn´t mean you shouldn´t prepare, but it does put things into perspective.
So what do you do?
As mentioned in the Christian Prepping Video and associated article. Be prepared and carry on as normal, be calm just like everybody else. Panicking achieves nothing. I´ve seen quite a few people recently reacting quite extremely to these Extreme Natural Disaster End Time scenarios especially on You Tube and quite literally freaking out and looking like they are having some sort of a mental breakdown. It could possibly be affecting their home and work life in an extreme way as well. When you watch people like this, it´s harrowing to watch and a domino effect of panic is created and you react the same way and pass it onto other people. You Tube is a very powerful medium and has the potential to freak you out and mentally destabilise yourself if you watch too much End Times videos and you can start to lose touch with reality and lose your marbles. How I´ve managed to remain sane is beyond me..........let´s just say the Lord is my Rock.
Turn OFF the noise
We are living in the information age and I think it´s a good thing when used wisely, but can be a bad thing when used addictively and can lead to information overload and mental issues if you are not careful. Electrical plugs have fuses for a reason. If ypu are starting to freak out, a simple way to cope with this information overload, cut the source that is causing the problem. Turn off all the noise. There´s so many people talking and shouting out there with news and stories and endless garbage. Just turn it all OFF! Including TV, Radio, PC, Laptop. Log off Twitter and Facebook, Instagram. Stop watching You Tube in particular........even switch off your phone. Even turn me off. Just for a couple of hours. 24 is better. If something happens...friends, family, work colleagues will inform you something is going down. Read a book or something (Not End Times). Just disconnect and you will see the difference and it will make a world of difference to your sanity and mental health. I do it over the weekend otherwise I think I would have flipped months ago.
How do I Cope?
Here´s my personal way of coping and keeping sane. If you read my Testimonial buried on this website if you have had a near death experience you tend not to fear death after such an experience and realise that you are lucky to be here in the first place. Combined with being "Born Again" adds to the fearlessness knowing that the Lord is by your side and to keep going on. If I was to pin myself down to a person in the Bible it would be either Joshua or David. With the mentality of one of these two, you can handle anything including Asteroid strikes. At present I´m writing this in a calm manner. I could panic and shut the website down but for some reason I´m still here?
Summary
What we are seeing going on in the world now is just a taste of what lies ahead. We are, make no mistake, entering a significant period where we could see things that make current events seem like a Holiday in Bali. An Asteroid strike, as ridiculous as it sounds is mentioned Prophetically in the Bible twice so is taken very seriously at this end. Could be Nibiru, Planet X or the Biblical Wormwood. This is just one of a number of events that are heading our way of a similar magnitude, most of which you cannot really humanly prepare for, and even if you could, would you want to be alive in a post apocalyptic nightmare world!
As the Book of Revelation starts to unfold and reveal God´s plan and other Prophecies start to come to fruition such as Isaiah, being mentally prepared and with a backup location (s), food, water, medical supplies will give you a certain peace of mind which is important. BUT the best and only chance of surviving the coming wrath of God and to find true peace, is to be "Saved" or "Born Again". Then you will cease to be afraid like myself and others running such websites, you will keep your sanity and you will have the strength to cope. The "Born Again" journey (and it is a journey) you have to make alone and is down to the mercy and grace of the Heavenly Father. As times goes by and these events start to unfold, there are only two ways, head toward the light and heat or go towards darkness and cold.......there will be no grey or lukewarm.......the coming events mentioned in the Book of Revelation are designed to ensure that it will be this way and no other!
