Italy Earthquakes getting closer to Rome?

A quick look at Wednesdays Earthquakes in Italy which also coincided with 4-6 feet of snow AT THE SAME TIME and sparked an avalanche that buried a hotel with fears of no survivors. This event certainly has a Biblical feel to it, not the magnitude of the event but there is a definite build up to something going on here with a strong pattern in time terms. Locals were calling it an Apocalyptic event and this follows on from the August and October quakes from last year which resulted in large 6.2 quake in August and many thousands of aftershocks, as in 45,000. The gaps seem to be consistently around the 2-3 month mark.

Rome has luckily been left unscathed yet again, but the recent Quakes on 18 January 2017 were felt, and were closer than the last Earthquakes of August and October. This time they were merely 100 km away. The quakes were so strong that they caused buildings in Rome to shake.

The times of the four Tremors: The first tremor happened at 10.25am local time, with the last felt shortly after 2.30pm. The magnitudes of the quakes varied between 5.3 and 5.7. Office workers were seen rushing out onto the streets, schools in the area were closed down and the cities metro system was suspended. as a result of these recent series of four earthquakes.

Since the first big quake struck on Aug 24 when a devastating 6.2 magnitude earthquake ripped through central Italy, killing hundreds and leaving thousands homeless, the region has been shaken by more than 45,000 aftershocks according to geologists. The question that springs to mind is whether there is a big one brewing and more specifically whether Rome bizarrely is eventually the target? The destruction of the potential Mystery Babylon??

5 Earthquakes are mentioned in the final book of the Bible as in The Book of Revelation. 3 are mentioned as GREAT earthquakes the other two are just mentioned as earthquakes. It´s the one mentioned in the sixth seal which would be the most relevant.

The Italian Earthquakes of August & October 2016. Is worse to come?

There has been a spike of Earthquake activity seen in recent years covered in a previous article "Are strong Earthquakes on the rise in 2016" and "Increased Earthquake Activity Fact or Fiction". Italy has been hit in the last few months by some serious earthquakes with August 2016 and more recently 30 October 2016 making the headlines. Nearly 250 earthquakes strong enough to cause structural damage have hit Italy in recent months. The massive earthquake on August 24 killed nearly 300 as of 29 Sept 2016. The central Apennines is a region renowned as one of the most seismically active areas in Italy, but it is the sheer volume of earthquake activity that is causing concern with many seismologists saying that these are a possible indication of something bigger to come. The last time Italy was so damaged by a series of earthquakes was in 1980, when a magnitude-6.9 quake and its aftershocks left 3,000 dead.

This article has come about as a cause of concern, based on just a bad feeling that worse is to come. Hopefully I am wrong on this but if seismologists are saying the same this has Biblical Prophecy implications, hence a closer look.

Historical Facts of Earthquakes in Italy

1. The deadliest quake in the modern era struck the city of Reggio Calabria — the toe of Italy’s boot-shaped peninsula — and across the narrow straights of Messina to northern Sicily in 1908, killing more than 100,000.
2. The strongest quake to strike Italy in the past 1,000 years was a magnitude-7.4 tremor that pounded eastern Sicily in 1693.
3. Ancient Rome was periodically devastated by earthquakes. Historical records include relatively detailed information for major earthquakes as far back as the year 1117, when a magnitude-6.5 quake left 30,000 dead near the northern Italian city of Verona.

The August 2016 Earthquake
An earthquake, measuring 6.2 on the moment magnitude scale, hit Central Italy on 24 August 2016. Its epi-centre was close to Accumoli and severe damage was recorded in the towns of Amatrice, near the epi-centre, and in Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto. The October 2016 Earthquakes

A series of major earthquakes struck Central Italy between the Marche and Umbria regions in October 2016. The third quake on October 30 was the largest in Italy in 36 years, since the 1980 Irpinia earthquake. The quakes occurred in a seismic gap which is located between the areas hit by the 2016 August earthquake and the one in Umbria and Marche of 1997. In that gap no strong earthquake happened for more than 100 years until 2016. Again this raises concerns that something bigger could be developing.

What could be on the way?

Seismic activity that shows swarming activity is normally an indication of other activity leading to something much bigger in the future. According to the geophysics and volcanology institute’s Gianluca Valensise said "one earthquake can weaken a nearby fault, making it rupture and causing a new earthquake. The resulting domino effect can last months or longer, particularly in an area like Italy’s Apennine Mountains, dense with fault lines and running down most of the Italian peninsula."

Since August, more than 150,000 Italians have been forced from their homes by earthquakes and aftershocks. And countless historical and cultural riches have been destroyed or severely damaged.

The Conspiracy Theory?
Are all the recent Earthquakes actually created by Freemasons and the Illuminati?? I have to admit I got completely lost after 5 minutes but it´s an interesting perspective. Is he right?



The Biblical Perspective

We are most certainly in the times mentioned in Matthew 24:7

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

There has been a spike in recent years in Earthquake activity spread on a global basis and not concentrate locally. It is interesting that these Earthquakes are recently focused in Italy and the tremors were actually felt in Rome, but Rome at this time was not in the Epi Centre. From a Prophetic angle for some reason Mystery Babylon seems to surface. The top 3 favourites for Mystery Babylon as mentioned in a previous article "Where is Mystery Babylon mentioned in Revelation" are US/New York, Italy/Rome/The Vatican and Saudi Arabia and Mecca. Jerusalem is also another candidate that was not covered in that article Is Rome destined for a massive prophetic earthquake? If Rome is in fact Mystery Babylon, Revelation makes it quite clear how Mystery Babylon is destroyed:

Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Whether the fire is caused by an earthquake is not mentioned. There is also a Great Earthquake mentioned as part of the Sixth Seal of Revelation in Revelation 6:12. My views on where we are on the Seals of Revelation were discussed in a recent Video "Where are we on the Book of Revelation Timeline".

If there is a massive Earthquake building in Italy, this could be the Sixth Seal of Revelation 6:12, maybe not. In Prophecy terms it is nowhere near as solid as the recent Sign of the Woman Prophecy that takes place on 23 September 2017 and closely correlates to Revelation 12:1-2. There would need to be seen a solar eclipse and a blood red moon as mentioned in Rev 6:12 "the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood". That would be the solid confirmation. without a shadow of a doubt.

However massive earthquakes are mentioned throughout the Bible and will feature during the Tribulation Period so will probably feature Italy and other areas around the globe especially along the Ring of Fire. Still these recent Italian Earthquakes do have a Biblical and Prophetic ring to them, and these recent earthquakes are just another part of the Prophecy puzzle. Either way Seismologists are watching closely for any future developments for sure. This website will be doing likewise especially around the Italian region.

Mentally coping with Extreme Biblical Events

This article has the bizarre title of "Mentally coping with Extreme Biblical Events". What´s it all about? As I keep saying repeatedly we are in the End Times which people now finally accept (Christian or otherwise) . In reality we are beyond that now and are in the Last Days without shadow of a doubt. We are certainly approaching a SIGNIFICANT PERIOD as I keep saying, with the month of Tishrei in the Jewish Holy Calendar upon us. The final weeks of a Super Shemitah year called a Jubilee Year that only happens every 50 years is also combining with this event. The effects could be far reaching or then again nothing could happen at all, (I´m not a Prophet) but with the way things seem to be ramping up in intensity, something is coming.

This article is probably more for non believers than believers. If you are a believer and believe in the Pre Tribulation Rapture then this is probably something that is not of concern. If you are Mid or Post Tribulation like myself and think you will be going though this Tribulation like everybody else....probably best to read on.

One person cannot be right all the time?

As I mentioned in a previous article, 20 pairs of eyes are better than one pair, and 17K eyes are better than 20. Here´s an example of some activity from my Twitter Activity page this morning that demonstrates that fact. I put a tweet out about the recent Charlotte headline and it turned out it was a video clip shot in London shot possibly during the London Riots in 2011 (Red Boris Bus in the background). DISASTER.These people below noticed and that´s good as I was half asleep this morning after a rough nights sleep. Needless to say I deleted it, otherwise you look like an idiot!

Thinking about this, it has dawned on me the responsibility you have when blasting out such dramatic headlines especially when you have more than a few followers. To be honest not much thought has been given to the effect all this news has on peoples mental state and their lives. Personally I´m not afraid of these headlines and think that most other people will be the same. It´s becoming increasingly apparent though that this website amongst many others of a similar nature, are now being followed very closely and not just by Christians. Certain news headlines are starting to impact peoples lives in a dramatic way, and some of these headlines, to put it mildly are mentally disturbing in nature. Another reason I don´t tweet much on the weekend, I need a couple of days break otherwise it´s just too depressing, that´s how I cope with it at this end.

Just looking at the recent Charlotte headlines declaring a state of emergency, never ending floods, recent New York and New Jersey bombings, ramping tensions in Syria, nuclear missile test launches to name just a few, it´s easy to see these headlines on your feed, whack a retweet button and think job done, without realising the emotional and mental impact that this news has on peoples lives who are following and reading this stuff.

A recent example
A recent case in point is a tweet I put out over last weekend, about an impending asteroid strike sometime between 23 September and 27 September. I took it with a pinch of salt as these are seen all the time. This planet has a staggering amount of near misses with asteroids and other objects on a monthly basis when you follow such things.



This one seemed a bit different though, so it was Tweeted with the line "Something to be aware of". If I didn´t put this Tweet out and it struck, doesn´t look good on The Twelve Gates...does it? This is a predicament faced with every Tweet where the news source is dubious in nature, everything is taken on board but only if it fits Prophecy, something that is not always easy to ascertain. Just because something like this is not confirmed by NASA doesn´t mean it isn´t out there. Think about it, would NASA actually say that "A mile long asteroid is hitting earth in X days"............I think not........there would be mass panic and hysteria.

Here´s somebody I don´t follow on You Tube, but bump into him from time to time, who has a few words on this possible Asteroid strike. He´s pretty much like myself, probably laughed at the statement but then takes things on board and investigates further before releasing such a potentially ridiculous statement. This guy took the words right out of my mouth and I share his views. Looks to be a Christian. What his reputation is I have no idea?

Asteroid Strike. How would you mentally cope?

Let´s look at this scenario, a sort of walk through, one of many disaster scenarios and see what options you have, if any?

Stage 1: Just say you see a Tweet on a possible Asteroid strike in a weeks time and it also appears on websites and say You Tube.

Stage 2: How do you react? Do you keep the information to yourself? Do you alert and tell others? Do you dismiss it as just another hoax and carry on as normal? Do you start to make plans to evacuate? Where do you go? Should you seek high ground or should you go underground? Link to "Is it worth prepping for Biblical disasters"

Stage 3: Maybe you have prepared for such an event? Realistically what are your chances of surviving say a mile wide asteroid hitting earth. If it hits the sea, massive tsunamis worldwide would be the result, something of the magnitude of 1000ft or more high, GLOBALLY!. High ground above that elevation would be a safe bet, but still no guarantee of survival. BUT what happens if it hits land...what then? The impact would be catastrophic and would cause a dust cloud so severe it would block out the sun for years turning Earth into a barren wasteland like the moon where nothing could survive. It would cause an an earthquake so unthinkable that not much would survive that either. The last big asteroid that hit, many scientists say caused the last Ice Age. The question is would you want to survive?



When you go through these three stages you realise unless you have some sort of underground facility with about at least 50ft or much more of solid concrete above you and years of food and water, or some sort of divine intervention like Moses had in the Bible, the chances of survival are going to be minimal at best. That doesn´t mean you shouldn´t prepare, but it does put things into perspective.

So what do you do?

As mentioned in the Christian Prepping Video and associated article. Be prepared and carry on as normal, be calm just like everybody else. Panicking achieves nothing. I´ve seen quite a few people recently reacting quite extremely to these Extreme Natural Disaster End Time scenarios especially on You Tube and quite literally freaking out and looking like they are having some sort of a mental breakdown. It could possibly be affecting their home and work life in an extreme way as well. When you watch people like this, it´s harrowing to watch and a domino effect of panic is created and you react the same way and pass it onto other people. You Tube is a very powerful medium and has the potential to freak you out and mentally destabilise yourself if you watch too much End Times videos and you can start to lose touch with reality and lose your marbles. How I´ve managed to remain sane is beyond me..........let´s just say the Lord is my Rock.

Turn OFF the noise

We are living in the information age and I think it´s a good thing when used wisely, but can be a bad thing when used addictively and can lead to information overload and mental issues if you are not careful. Electrical plugs have fuses for a reason. If ypu are starting to freak out, a simple way to cope with this information overload, cut the source that is causing the problem. Turn off all the noise. There´s so many people talking and shouting out there with news and stories and endless garbage. Just turn it all OFF! Including TV, Radio, PC, Laptop. Log off Twitter and Facebook, Instagram. Stop watching You Tube in particular........even switch off your phone. Even turn me off. Just for a couple of hours. 24 is better. If something happens...friends, family, work colleagues will inform you something is going down. Read a book or something (Not End Times). Just disconnect and you will see the difference and it will make a world of difference to your sanity and mental health. I do it over the weekend otherwise I think I would have flipped months ago.

How do I Cope?
Here´s my personal way of coping and keeping sane. If you read my Testimonial buried on this website if you have had a near death experience you tend not to fear death after such an experience and realise that you are lucky to be here in the first place. Combined with being "Born Again" adds to the fearlessness knowing that the Lord is by your side and to keep going on. If I was to pin myself down to a person in the Bible it would be either Joshua or David. With the mentality of one of these two, you can handle anything including Asteroid strikes. At present I´m writing this in a calm manner. I could panic and shut the website down but for some reason I´m still here?

Summary

What we are seeing going on in the world now is just a taste of what lies ahead. We are, make no mistake, entering a significant period where we could see things that make current events seem like a Holiday in Bali. An Asteroid strike, as ridiculous as it sounds is mentioned Prophetically in the Bible twice so is taken very seriously at this end. Could be Nibiru, Planet X or the Biblical Wormwood. This is just one of a number of events that are heading our way of a similar magnitude, most of which you cannot really humanly prepare for, and even if you could, would you want to be alive in a post apocalyptic nightmare world!

As the Book of Revelation starts to unfold and reveal God´s plan and other Prophecies start to come to fruition such as Isaiah, being mentally prepared and with a backup location (s), food, water, medical supplies will give you a certain peace of mind which is important. BUT the best and only chance of surviving the coming wrath of God and to find true peace, is to be "Saved" or "Born Again". Then you will cease to be afraid like myself and others running such websites, you will keep your sanity and you will have the strength to cope. The "Born Again" journey (and it is a journey) you have to make alone and is down to the mercy and grace of the Heavenly Father. As times goes by and these events start to unfold, there are only two ways, head toward the light and heat or go towards darkness and cold.......there will be no grey or lukewarm.......the coming events mentioned in the Book of Revelation are designed to ensure that it will be this way and no other!

Are strong Earthquakes on the rise in 2016?

Are strong earthquakes on the increase in 2016?

There has been a notable worrying recent increase in strong earthquakes (Magnitude 6.0 and higher) especially in this month April 2016. The recent devastating Ecuador and Japan earthquakes being a case in point with the death toll topping 500 at the Ecuador earthquake. Earthquake swarms are another worrying trend, these are normally lower in Magnitude (5 or below) but are higher in number and striking at a similar time in a similar area. Earthquake swarms are one of the events that can typically precede eruptions of volcanoes, hence why these events are watched closely by seismologists and hence this article. Something is going on here!

I'm not a seismology expert by any stretch of the imagination but the recent strong Earthquakes from Ecuador and Japan seem to be played down by media as NOT connected in any way, but delve deeper and it looks possibly in seismology circles that they maybe in what is called the Ring of Fire?

The recent earthquake news has seen an increase in stronger earthquakes but over a longer time frame has there really been an increase? With the increasing sensitivity of seismic technology and also the rise of Fracking states like Oklahoma are seeing a massive increase in smaller earthquakes which are being attributed to this new method of oil and gas extraction. Also Population increase and habitation spread, contribute to higher earthquake numbers being recorded over time BUT this does not explain away strong earthquakes!

What is an Earthquake?

An earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the perceptible shaking of the surface of the Earth, resulting from the sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. Earthquakes can be violent enough to toss people around and destroy whole cities. The seismicity or seismic activity of an area refers to the frequency, type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time.

Earthquakes are measured using observations from seismometers. The moment magnitude is the most common scale on which earthquakes larger than approximately 5 are reported for the entire globe. The more numerous earthquakes smaller than magnitude 5 reported by national seismological observatories are measured mostly on the local magnitude scale, also referred to as the Richter magnitude scale. At the Earth's surface, earthquakes manifest themselves by shaking and sometimes displacement of the ground. When the epicenter of a large earthquake is located offshore, the seabed may be displaced sufficiently to cause a tsunami. Earthquake swarms are events where a local area experiences sequences of many earthquakes striking in a relatively short period of time. An event may be of the order of days, weeks, or months. They are different from earthquakes aftershocks as no single earthquake in the sequence is obviously the main shock.

On first viewing the stats above do not really show much of a difference over a 10 year time frame with just the odd drop here and there such as 2008, but if you take a look at a chart going back many years there has been a spike in earthquake activity and only recently and that spike seems to be maintained. The Predicted Great Earthquake on the US North West Coast?

Every 500 or so years there is a Mega Quake that occurs off the North West Coast of the US and the last one happened well over 300 years ago in 1700. The Quake is called the Cascadia Earthquake. It's one of those situations........it's not  question of if but when. They tend to be of a Magnitude 9.0 or above! The recent Ecuador earthquake of 7.4 killing over 500 is tame in comparison. Some scientists are predicting that a Mag 9.0 or worse is coming in the next 50 years or even less?

How do scientists know this. By soil and sediment samples taken that demonstrate this occurrence at those time intervals, right down to the last decade or so. If it is anything like the last one this quake would cause a Tsunami of horrific proportions with waves in the region 80-100ft tall and having a length of hundreds of miles. The North West Coast of the US as we know it would be pretty much eradicated. A Video and scientist that explains this theory and why if you are living in this region you should be worried. Best form of defence, get out of the area prior to the Quake or head to higher ground, higher than at least 100ft.

Firstly what is the definition of a Sinkhole.

A sinkhole also known as a cenote, sink,sink-hole, shakehole, swallet, swallow hole, or doline is a depression or hole in the ground caused by some form of collapse of the surface layer. Some are caused by karst processes—for example, the chemical dissolution of carbonate rocks or suffosion processes. Sinkholes vary in size from 1 to 600 m (3.3 to 2,000 ft) both in diameter and depth, and vary in form from soil-lined bowls to bedrock-edged chasms. Sinkholes may form gradually or suddenly, and are found worldwide. They are not associated with Earthquakes.

Sinkholes are common where the rock below the land surface is limestone or other carbonate rock, salt beds, or in other rocks, such as gypsum, that can be dissolved naturally by circulating ground water. Sinkholes also occur in sandstone and quartzite terrains. As the rock dissolves, spaces and caverns develop underground. These sinkholes can be dramatic, because the surface land usually stays intact until there is not enough support. Then, a sudden collapse of the land surface can occur. Are Sinkholes on the increase?

Accuweather recently reported that "Increased reporting of sinkholes (as the public becomes more aware of them), combined with urban sprawl, may lead to the impression that they are occurring more frequently now than in the past," according to Rick Green, geologist for the Florida Geological Survey.

Accuweather went onto say that Randall Orndorff Director of the Eastern Geology and Paleoclimate Science Center for the U.S stated
"We have no hard evidence to say for sure that sinkholes are occurring more than they have in the past; however, since human influences such as paving and building in sinkhole-prone areas has increased, it probably follows that we are seeing them more often," Orndorff said.

Many have blamed the recent massive hole formations to fracking and drilling and tunnel boring (Bertha, the largest tunnel boring machine in the world, caused a 250-cubic-foot sinkhole to open up on Seattle's waterfront), though scientists say a link has not been found yet with fracking and drilling

My Views:
"Dissolving of rock by circulating ground water" is the key statement here and globally the recent El Nino event has accelerated this process resulting in a lot of water in the form of storms and flooding which would have a huge impact on underground rock formations and causing sink holes to increase dramatically. The exact reverse as in drought can have a similar effect, there has been plenty of that also as a result of El Nino. As with everything as more people become aware and more focused on sink holes, then it naturally follows that they will become more prominent. BUT still there does seem to be a lot of these bizarre openings happening on a daily basis?
