Exposing False Prophets, Religious False Teachers & Mega Churches

Exposing False Prophets and False Teachers

Exposing the truth and an in depth look at the rise and rise of the False Preacher, False Prophets and Mega Churches and their associated culture. The Bible in the Book of Revelations warns that in the End Times there will be many deceptions and many false teachings and False Prophets. It warns us to test the Spirit.

But what is a False Prophet or False Teacher?
These are people that appear to be in the Christian Faith, appear to have Christian Values, they may even have prominent positions in Religious establishments such as Churches or other such institutions, but their teachings tend to be of the "ear tickling" variety preaching what is called "The Wide Gate and the Broad Way" Prosperity Gospel.

Some views from the owner of this website on self proclaimed False Prophets that appear on various websites across the Net

The most well known False Prophets, False Religious Teachers and False Mega Preachers have large ministries and followings and commonly have what are called Mega Churches which can be football stadium in size. These types tend to be very charismatic, charming, overly nice on the surface, can be angelic looking, softly spoken in interviews and most importantly they tell you what you want to hear and "Twist" the word to achieve that objective often without you realising. Their agenda

is to lead you away from the Truth and the Christian Faith and it's values without you even realising. They are leading you to an alternative New Age Christianity where you and your happiness and life come first and God comes second.

How can you tell a False prophet or Teacher
Here's the thing, they are hard to spot. If you are truly in the Christian faith, test the spirit of this individual and use the Holy Spirit to guide you. You will be able to tell within minutes if something is amiss or is just not right. If you're outside the faith but think you are part of it, it will be difficult to tell. Here's some pointers from my personal travels and experiences that will weed out these wolves in sheep's clothing.

1. Do they have a testimony. If they do....read it and form your own opinion. If they don't have a Testimony..... ask yourself WHY?

2. Do they preach the "Prosperity Gospel" with worlds like "God is a loving forgiving God. Who will reward believers with health, wealth and happiness" and don't believe or care for words like "suffering", "persecution", "Meekness" and "Humbleness"

3. Do they quote from the Bible but upon checking some words have been omitted or changed even just slightly to change the meaning.

4. Are they overly charming and charismatic, a picture of perfect innocence, wouldn't hurt a fly and are even more charming when they see you pull out your wallet and hand over a few notes. They'll even give you a warm hug or embrace and mutter a few words with a big smile saying your place in heaven is getting closer everyday.

5. Do they have travelling road shows promising "Miracles", "Free Special Anointings", "Special Blessings", "Laying on of Hands" or "Come and get Saved/Born Again" with free entrance to a large expensive exclusive venue?

6. Do they use strange hand motions when they speak such as pointing with a single finger or waving their hands around in different strange unnatural looking formations. I call it the "conducting an orchestra" type of hand motions. The Illuminati It's Real and it's out there. It's all clever psycholigical symbolic brainwashing.

7. Do they quote the Bible but then twist it to say "but that was back then....God doesn't expect you to do that now" OR "you don't need to worry about that these days God just wants you to be happy"

8. Do they try this with scripture, try to "jazz it up" or make the Bible sound "modern, hip and funky" and more exciting injected with loads of humour. Their preaching is of the "ear tickling" and "make you feel good and comfortable" variety. They tell you what you want to hear so you'll come back next week for more, rather than what God wants you to here.

9. Do they read a Bible quote and say "this is what was actually meant" and that "Actual" bears no resemblance to the word of God whatsoever. The Bible is the word of God it doesn't need dressing up or changing.

10. Are they living their lives like Jesus. Are they Christ like in thought, speech, actions and deeds? What have they achieved in Christian terms as in "what is their fruit" that has been born from their belief. Are they of the "spirit" or are they of "the world". If their fruit is Private Jets, Large Mansions or Three, Lavish Lifestyle, High End Cars, Top Dollar Clothing and a Promiscuous lifestyle and just taking from their flock. You are witnessing a False Prophet/Preacher. Remember Jesus was homeless, penniless and had to borrow a Donkey to make his grand entrance as the King of Israel on a donkey and fed his flock often from practically nothing.

A video below from a You Tube channel I watch on occasion. The preacher is David Wilkerson. Some (a lot) say he is a False Prophet I've included the video as what he says hear rings true, but it also demonstrates that it's tricky and difficult to know who to trust.

11. I watched a video the other day where a Bible quote was used in a sermon and the term "as above...so below" was inserted. That term does not appear anywhere in the Bible. It's a Pagan term plain and simple. Again know your Bible and test the Spirit.

12. A false Teacher/Preacher will act as a mediator between you and God/Jesus saying only he is equipped to hear God's voice or that if you go outside or leave his church you will be incurring the wrath of God. In the Bible it says "my sheep hear my voice". A true Christian is just as well equipped to hear the voice of God and doesn't need a mediator for this. Another alarm bell that something is amiss.

John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

13. Do they promise that you'll be "Saved" or "Born Again" if you slip them a small fee and by sayig the infamous "Little Prayer" and laying on of hands or something similar. Be wary of such claims. Jesus performed miracles but never asked for money.

14. They use an alternative version of the Bible, one that isn't recognised by the mainstream, saying the Bible is incorrect and that theirs is the real Bible and the truth???

15. TV Evangelists. Do they have their own TV/Radio Show. I'm personally a bit wary of these sort of shows. I don't think I've ever seen anything on TV via a Religious channel with regards to preaching that has been worth listening too. There are some good radio stations out there, but setting up a digital radio station is not that difficult. Again test the Spirit and see what they have to say. I remember seeing one once that was going on about End Times and every 2 minutes there were adverts for 1 years food supply for $ xxx or 7 years supply special rate at $xxxx. Ask yourself, are they going to be around to supply that food when the SHTF? They will have your money, will you have your food?

16. Overly Loud and aggressive preachers. You know the ones, shouting their message to get peoples attention. If you've got a light inside of you, there's no need to shout or scream, people will see it and will listen to what you have to say....regardless of volume level.

17. They perform miracles at large gatherings often football stadium in size, where they lay on hands, push people backwards and they fall on the floor and start doing strange things like laughing demonically, crying like a baby, crawling on fours and barking like a dog, or a man starts talking in a womans voice or vica versa. These preachers are not of God. There is no mention of this in a Christian sense in the Bible. If you watch a Voodoo ceremony and see what goes on there you'll realise that the miracle performing preachers are summoning up something but it's not holy.

18. Female preachers that appear on TV or any other media on the internet wearing loads of make up, fancy jewellry. I'm personally a bit wary of. The Christian way is moderation, most of the Women I listen to wear minimal make up. It goes with the territory and you can hear they've got the spirit in their speech and in their actions and their appearance, although as mentioned there are some angelic looking "sheep in wolves clothing" types out there.

19. False Prophets: These tend to make predictions or employ date fixing for coming prophetic events. They can appear on TV or Radio, can write best selling books that make them a fortune ...... BEFORE the event. They can achieve a huge popularity and status for a relatively short period of time and make a large amount of money from such prophecies. The true test as always with Prophecies is when the date and time arrives and nothing happens or it's reduced in scale, you then know what they are. Sometimes they get it right but one incorrect prophecy and they are in the False Prophet camp. Sometimes they'll keep moving the date forward hoping that no one will notice...but unfortunately people do. If they are of God, all prophecies are fulfilled at the time and date and magnitude specified, not some..but ALL.

A word on Prophecy........only God knows the dates and times of coming End Times events. Not even The Saints or Angels or Holy People on this earth know this information. If words like the Prophecy has been "delayed" or "reduced significantly" or "will not be happening after all" or it was 2016 but now it's moved forward to 2017?". You know the conclusion to draw. These false prophets when they get it wrong either disappear never to return, go very quiet for a few months then make a big comeback or try some new tack and repeat the whole process again.

20. The Mega Preacher. If you see an advert in a big newspaper/magazine or on a prominent website online for a Big Event at a Big Venue with FREE admission promising you the earth and a life changing opportunity in religious terms for FREE? Ask yourself this and do the maths. How much was the advert. How much was the venue to hire? If they are not from your country....how did they get there....was that FREE? Ask yourself if the admission is FREE something MUST go on inside this event as in handing over of money to cover these costs otherwise it's a loss making venture. Why would they do that?

Vid: A video featuring the owner of this website sheds some light titled 15 Signs of a False Preacher

A list of False Preachers and Prophets in the opinion of S04J

A few words on Mega Churches. You know the ones, where the Congregation is at least 5000 and can be up to football stadium in sized with a congregation of 40K plus. These Mega CHurches have Mega Preachers that are celebrities in their own right. They can supposedly perform miracles... or so it seems. They have the uncanny ability to tell people what they want to hear and they will tailor their sermons/speeches to keep the audience sitting on the edge of their seat. They will get standing ovations when they have finished their sermon or people will fall to their knees crying their eyes out. People will feel good at the end, they will be urged to give generously in a subtle indirect way to "keep the ministry alive" ...and people do.

Think about it, if 5000 attend an event and they just give £2 or $2 that's £10,000 or $10,000....in one night! That's just 5000 people. Imagine 40,000 people giving that same amount and you get numbers like this...... £80,000 or $80,000 .....for one night! People give much more than this. Now you can understand why Mega Churches are big business and the NEW CHURCH. These churches are similar to the huge out of town supermarkets and Shopping Malls and the effect they have had on the High Street and Local Community. They suck the life out of it. These Mega Churches suck the life out of the traditional smaller church. The effect the Mega Churches are having on smaller churches with traditional preaching models is catastrophic. They are leaving in their droves every week. This phenonenom is particularly prevalent in the US. Once you've been to a Mega Church, it's difficult to go back to the traditional drier sounding heavily scripture based Church regardless whether the Mega Church is leading you away from the truth or not.

It's big business. I've watched some of these sermons in these Mega Churches by some of the BIG NAMES in the business. Some are quite young and angelic looking, softly spoken, looking all Holy and Religious (on the outside at least). But listen closely what they are saying (and you have to listen very closely indeedc with some) and you realise that these Preachers are no Man or Woman of God. His or her job is to keep you away from the truth and The Traditional Church and keep you entertained. Give your ears a good tickling, make you laugh or even cry, make you feel good, so good that the more money you put on that plate on the way out........the more blessed you will be? You might even get a Holy? handshake or even a Hug. And of course next week you will be back for more of the same.

There's a fortune to be made in False Religion or what is branded THE NEW CHRISTIANITY and these people have got their Industry (and it is an Industry) down to a fine art. I remember watching one once (on You Tube) who was so good he had even me laughing and nodding in agreement! I kid you not! Only when things didn't start to gel half way through and my inner voice said "something is not right here", and I switched it off, did I realise that I was being very cleverly brainwashed and conned just like a Used Car Salesman trying to sell you that Lemon Car that nobody wants in a horrific colour that nobody will ever buy in a million years.

I thought, if I'm nearly getting sucked in here, what chance have people got that are just findng Christianity or are NEW to the faith sucked in by the adverts. How are they to know. This is how these Mega Churches work. It's clever stuff, if you question anything that goes on there you are either sowing discord amongst the Brethren or you're a Heretic. You'll just get drowned out by the multitude that think that this Mega Church and Mega Preacher is the path to spiritual enlightenment and Heaven.

The preaching at these churches is not the Narrow Gate and the Narrow Road but the Wide Gate and the Broad Road Prosperity Gospel what I call "the Easy Gospel" These Mega Preachers always have a Private Jet (they say it's essential) Mansion or Three with all the trimmings, Massive Salary, Top of the Range Cars, Lavish Lifestyle. He/She will say it's all been given to them "by the will of God" and will say "God want's you to have this lavish lifestyle as well....he wants you to be happy and have all your needs and desires fulfilled"

Does that sound like the spiritual path to enlightenment and holiness. It doesn't does it. Sounds like "The World", and this type of preaching will keep you firmly entrenched in it.

A final word and video on all this. It features, monks, anchorites and other TRUE holy types from the Orthodox Christian faith, who have devoted their life to God. They have nothing, want nothing apart from to dedicate thei life to God, and live in remote areas divorced from society, some underground. Watch this video which is of a rough quality and with English subtitles and compare it to the previous preachers. Which route do you think will lead you to the Truth, Holiness and the Father?

Bible Quotes

The Prosperity Gospel: God is a loving forgiving God. Who will reward believers with health, wealth and happiness

Here's the real Gospel straight from the King James Version of the Bible. Is there a similarity?

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:3-12

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24 4:5

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2 Peter 2 1:2

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1 Tim 4 1:2

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Tim 3 16,17

Look not at Externals
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Math 7:15

Talking the Right Talk but Walking the Wrong Walk
We shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Math 7:16

Good and Evil mix like Oil and Water. People who have no fruit but are under a curse are not walking in God. They have no light...never have!
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Luke 6:22

A false prophet does not encounter rejection but is accepted with open arms by the world
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Luke 6:26

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1 John 4:5

A true prophet has faced much rejection in their lives and has faced trials and tribulations and knows the meaning of the saying "let it go". He knows to be a leader..... first he must be a servant

The Spirit of Divination

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
Deuteronomy 18:10

The true prophet of god will speak a word to expose the sin of mens hearts that will cause them to repent and be changed A false prophet builds a wrong foundation that falls.
And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 13:9

Turns people away from the truth eg Barjesus. Be wary of those who keep instructing you to look at your own strengths and your own abilities as in The Self or Self Exaltation

Makes merchandise of Gods people.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2 Peter 2:1-3

The prophet who is not sent from God will seek to make wealth from Gods people. The word of God is not given for the sake of financial benefit. A false prophet hinders and prevents the flow of the Spirit. And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
Acts 16:16

False prophets will twist the word. False Prophets are often unaware that they are being deceptive. They think they are speaking on behalf of the Lord

And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
Acts 8;18:20

But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one,To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
Acts 8 9-10

The Exaltation of Self a statement from a False Preacher
"When you obey God.....we're not doing it for God...........we're doing it for ourelves. God takes pleasure when we are happy"

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 peter 5:8

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Matthew 13:24-25

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Matthew 13:38-39

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:9

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
2 Corinthians 2:14

And the last quote:

Matthew 7:13-14 "13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it."
