The Bible Code. Is there any truth in it?

A fascinating look at the topic called "Bible Code" which takes the understanding of the Holy Book to a completely new level. This article is based purely on a video search on You Tube that produced this particular video as a "Recommended for You". Link at foot of article. It's in 2 parts but you get the general drift from Part 1. I'm no expert on such things but this is one of hundreds of weird and wonderful videos I see on my travels and there's a lot of stuff out there on Prophecy and End Times. This article is an illustration of what is out there. Some of it is good, some fact, some bizarre, but there is a lot of blatantly obvious rubbish out there.

This is a closer look at something that doesn't fit into any of these categories, and is potentially believable. It can be said it's highly controversial and a dangerous look digging deeper into the Hebrew Bible called The Torah which equates to the first five books of the Old Testament in the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). and forms the basis of the Jewish religion called Judaism.

The language the Torah is based on is Hebrew which is a symbolic and numerical based language. Judaism is a religion heavily based on numbers! According to this video
and a book called "The Bible Code" it is claimed there are numerical codes or sequences hidden within it's passages which reveal details in crystal clear clarity of an end times prophecy amongst other things. These are strikingly similar to the predictions in a vision format stated in The Book of Revelations which is the last book of the New Testament which forms the basis of Christianity. The difference is the bible doesn't give firm dates (maybe for a reason) but this system does condense it down to roughly a month and year.

If you've ever tried solving the word puzzles in a grid format forming words diagonally, vertically and horizontally and backwards that gives a rough idea what this bible code is all about. An example is taking every 50th letter from the book of Genesis the first 5 produced spell the word Torah. Just a coincidence? Apply the exact same theory to the next book the Book of Exodus and you get the EXACT same answer again TORAH. Apparently no mention whether it works for the other 3 books?

It's a sceptical way of arriving at End Times Bible Prophecy but has recently been popularized in modern times by Michael Drosnin's book The Bible Code and the movie The Omega Code. With a complex computer algorithm the whole Torah has been analysed using this bible code technique and some interesting results have surfaced in the form of single words or a short sentence or phrase which tie in nicely with end time prophecy.

It's the revealing of obscured words that can be found in biblical text that show some hidden meaning. Maybe there was a reason for that? Some of the words come up multiple times and considering this video (below) dates back to 2014 and the owner of the channel sounds quite young and angelic, it's coming up with some pretty accurate predictions of how this end times scenario will pan out. If this Bible Code analysis is 100% above board?, then it suggests the beginning of the end times is between Late 2015 and Late 2016. The years 2017-2020 do not get a look in, they are not mentioned even once. It would tie in very well with the recent escalation in global events we have seen strangely enough in the last couple of months. If you Google this persons You Tube channel it seems to be getting a lot of negative remarks on forums but I've gone with it with a "take it with a pinch of salt" mentality. Hence a closer look at this video.

Signs, meteorological events, the fall of a nation, prominent world leaders named and much more is revealed. The controversy is this is a scientific or numerology or mathematical way of finding out this information a bit like reading tea leaves or tarot cards in the old days, and not a religious one but strangely the end result does have religious significance.

This Bible Code illustrates the very depth of Holy scripture in that not only is it 2 dimensional as in what is contained in the surface written word that alone have powerful meaning, these scriptures have a 3rd dimension revealing even deeper information. It's that 3rd dimension I think most mere mortals should stay away from as you are starting to stray into dark areas here and you've got no scripture to back you up. It's divination pure and simple which is a big No No in the bible and can lead you down a long dark road the exact opposite direction of the Bible for sure. A road I have been down myself (see my Testimonial) so I'm talking from experience here!

To the sceptics out there you will probably say  you can TRY to find or make certain words or phrases turn up to tie up with modern day events by using a certain formula. That assumption would be correct.

To believers and non believers alike with an open mind it does raise the point that the scripture contained in these Holy Books, the words potentially run to unfathomable depths beyond the deep meanings of the surface written word. I think that analysis is best left to very Holy people who have considerable religious experience and have had some standing for a long period of time.

It's shocking the words that come up and the scripture is thousands of years old. Chillingly accurate end times prediction or merely a load of coincidences churned out by a lucky mathematical formula. Or maybe just a few extra modern words and names thrown in to give it some credence. You decide?

My humble opinion is it's something to take on board, but if you are a person of strong Christian faith then this information just clarifies and confirms what you already know and will not have the slightest effect on your beliefs and your End Times views. You will know when the time is at hand and will have no need of Bible Codes. It's an interesting and riveting watch none the less but carries a warning that this is an example of prophecy that is not true to scripture but could prove accurate. There's loads of stuff out there like this on the net.

There is no mention in there about prophecy, divination, biblical codes and decoding or making predictions!

I've seen countless predictions of the end of the world such as 11/11 this year based on a vision, 23 Sept 2015, stock market crashes in September down to the last minute ( there was a correction in August) none of these have happened. So this is just a warning be careful what you watch and read out there. You'll see loads of End Times news and fact on this website that is fulfilling scripture but predictions as in exact dates........... NO. No one knows except the Almighty!
